I always like to focus on what you as a student need help with to ensure that you get the most out of every lesson, and spend as much time making progress as possible I would describe myself as methodical and systematic and I think my teaching style reflects this. First, I like to ensure that there is an understanding of the key principles of the topic. Then I like to break questions down and look at the key steps in the method for that question type. I think that repetition is extremely important and the key to mastering a particular topic is encountering as many different variations of questions as possible. So this is what I will encourage. I have previous experience teaching other students from my school A-level maths concepts which they struggled with. While preparing for A-levels I created some resources that enabled me to achieve 4 A*s in the subjects above and have helped other students. Hi, my name is Rebecca, I am a second year medical student in UL. I previously studied science in UCD, where I graduated with a major in physiology, minor in Japanese, genetics and microbiology. I'm from Wexford and love going home every few weeks to see my family and my dogs. I can teach science to Junior Certificate level and biology to Leaving Certificate level, both at higher and ordinary level. I have some experience giving grinds to both JC and LC biology also. I am an undergraduate studying mechanical engineering MEng, I've tutored maths and physics for 2 years and have loved guiding and teaching my students to pass their GCSE's and A-levels As I am still in full time education and having completed my own GCSE's and A-Levels I can understand how stressful and difficult it is learning subjects in classrooms without one to one help. That's why I try cater to students needs, breaking down the subject matter into simpler explanations and then work through exam questions to show how its used in practice.
