Hi, I’m Samara! I’ve been tutoring English at KS3, GCSE and A Level, as well as 11+ preparation, since 2022. I’m currently studying Law at a Russell Group university and genuinely love helping young people grow in confidence and reach their full potential! I teach students aged 8 to 18 and always aim to make my lessons engaging, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their skills at their own pace. Outside of teaching, I love music, cooking and documentaries :) I am currently studying Law at the University of Southampton, a Russell Group university, where I have further consolidated my strong skills in academic writing, critical analysis and clear communication. My degree requires me to understand complex information, construct well-supported arguments and explain ideas in a structured and accessible way, which are all skills I bring into my teaching! I have completed modules including the Foundations of Legal Knowledge, the core units for an LLB Law degree. Before university, I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Bexley Grammar School. My studies included English Literature, Global Politics and History which strengthened my essay-writing, analytical and communication skills. This diploma is notoriously more rigorous than A levels and has really helped me in preparation for university and for teaching A level English Literature. I also achieved strong GCSE results across subjects including English Language, English Literature, History, Religious Studies, Business Studies, French Mathematics and the sciences. As a former grammar school student, I also have a strong understanding of the 11+ process and the skills students need to develop in English, maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning. I have been tutoring since 2022 and have experience teaching students from approximately age 8 to 18. I tutor 11+ preparation, KS3 English, GCSE English Language and Literature, and A Level English. I have worked with students of different abilities, including those who need additional confidence and support, as well as higher-achieving students aiming for top grades. In the past, I have led sessions with SEN students and first-time English learners hoping to do the 11+ or work towards sitting their SATS. Texts covered by me at GCSE level include Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, poetry for both anthologies and many more. As for A Level students, I have covered Othello, Twelth Night, Jane Eyre, The Handmaid's Tale, A Street Car Named Desire, The Great Gatsby and many more. My lessons are tailored to each individual student. I aim to create a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their confidence. I use clear explanations, worked examples, structured practice and regular feedback to help students understand difficult topics and make measurable progress. I also adapt my teaching style depending on the student’s age, learning needs and goals, while keeping lessons engaging and focused. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy, particularly seeing students become more confident and independent over time. I am patient, reliable and enthusiastic, and I take pride in helping students achieve their academic goals while also developing a more positive attitude towards learning :)

Hi, I'm Will! I'm studying Maths at the University of Warwick, and I've always loved Maths, which is why I'm here. I get that tricky topics can feel completely overwhelming at first. That's normal, and it's exactly what I'm here to help with. Instead of just handing you the answer, I'll work through problems alongside you, so you actually build the understanding (and confidence) to tackle similar questions on your own next time. Every student's different, so whether you're cramming for an exam, stuck on one specific topic, or just want to push your grades that bit further, I'll shape our sessions around what actually works for you. I'm patient, easy to talk to, and genuinely don't mind going over something five different ways until it clicks. I have studied at d'Overbroecks for my secondary and college education, achieving grades 9 and 8 in GCSE Mathematics and English Language respectively, and achieving grades A* in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics and grade A in Computer Science at A-level.

I'm a Maths grad, currently working in the tech industry, having studied Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level. Outside of work I'm a keen runner and hiker, who loves spending time outdoors outdoors or exploring London, and enjoys getting lost reading a great book! I attended Peter Symonds college for A-levels, where I took Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. At Bath University I studied Mathematical Sciences, allowing me to dabble in physics while I focussed on Maths. Since university, I have studied again in Software Engineering and continue to learn constantly in my job.

Hi, I’m Ade – GCSE Tutor (Maths and Science) I’m a graduate in IT Management for Business, and I offer tutoring in GCSE Maths and Science. With a strong academic background and a passion for helping others, I aim to make learning more approachable and less stressful for students. My sessions are tailored to each student’s needs—whether that’s boosting confidence, preparing for exams, or simply making tricky topics easier to understand. These helped me improve my problem-solving and analytical skills and understand how to create solutions that meet people’s needs. My degree also improved my communication and critical thinking, which I now use to explain maths and science topics clearly when supporting students.

I’m a final-year Aerospace Engineering student with excellent GCSE and A-Level results. I’ve been tutoring for several years and really enjoy helping students achieve their potential. Hi, my name is Tasadaq Ali. I am a 3rd year Medical Student at the University of Sheffield. In my GCSEs, I achieved a grade 9 in Chemistry and a grade 8 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Physics. In my A-Levels, I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I enjoy teaching and I have been doing it for quite some time now. During my GCSEs, although my year was the year in which COVID cancelled our exams, I was still able to walk away with a grade 9 in Chemistry, a grade 8 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Physics, a grade 7 in Geography and a grade 6 in English Language, English Literature, History and Design/Technology. I stayed at Ermysteds for sixth form to study for my A-Levels. In the end I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. Hi, I’m Eva! I’m 19 years old and currently studying Business Management at the University of Nottingham, where I’m about to begin my second year. Hi I'm Charlie. I'm a Master's graduate in Physics and currently undertaking a PhD in Astrophysics while working as a postgraduate teaching assistant. I know through experience how difficult physics and maths can be and am in a position to help students by breaking topics down into manageable components. In summer 2025 I graduated with a first class master's degree in physics with astrophysics and cosmology. I began a PhD in astrophysics in October 2025 and have been working as a teaching assistant since then for varied courses in physics from master's level computer labs to first-year mathematics.
