I enjoy Mathematics and Computer Programming. I am comfortable in tutoring Mathematics and English and engineering modules from basic up to undergraduate level. I have tutored kids with special needs and thus I have experience with varying teaching modules to suit diverse needs. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and a Masters degree in Data Science from the University of Aberdeen. These studies have equipped me with adequate knowledge on the modules that they come with. I also have diverse experience with applying concepts from the modules.

I am currently a first year university student, studying PPE (politics, philosophy and economics) at the university of York. I successfully achieved straight As and A*s (7,8,9s) at GCSE, which led me to pick history, biology and Spanish at A level. I am particularly unique when it comes to Spanish teaching as I am a native speaker, being half Spanish, and having spoken the language from as little as I can remember. I sat my GCSE’s and A levels at Mayfield school, a boarding school for girls in East Sussex. After my a levels, I had successfully gotten into my firm and my insurance choice universities ( the university of Nottingham an the university of York). Both universities being Russel group, I ended up deciding to attend the university of York, here I currently am a first year studying PPE (BA)(politics, philosophy an economics).

I am an English and Spanish teacher who encourages students to think critically and creatively. I believe that students learn and develop at different rates and in different ways. In this regard, I have a strong desire to transmit the knowledge I have acquired through my experiences to students. In my free time I love doing horse riding and ceramics. Hi, I'm Caitlin! I am an English Literature graduate from the University of Sheffield. My degree in English has given me lots of knowledge, insight and passion for the subject.
