Expert KS2 Tutors: Online Tutors for 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 Year Olds

Currently studying (MEng) Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering at the University of Sheffield, I am a dedicated Maths and Physics tutor, with around an 2-3 years total experience in person and online, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades. My approach combines the structured discipline of established learning centres, such as Kumon (where I was a tutor for more than 2 years) and the flexible touch of indepedent 1 on 1 tutoring. I achieved a Grade 9 in Maths and all Sciences in my GCSEs and got an A in Physics at A level. I have also had experience tutoring 11+ briefly, and have passed the 11+ myself in 2017. As a student who completed his GCSE exams 3 years ago, I can provide tailored advice and the most up-to-date tips and tricks to help students flourish and achieve top marks. I went to a selective state-grammar school based on 11+ scores called Lawrence Sheriff School for all of my secondary school years and 6th form. I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels here achieving almost all A*/A scores in every subject. Hi, I'm Haris and I study Medicine at Leicester University, throughout school I always loved helping out any friends stuck on school work, because I found this was a great way to learn and now it's become a vital way for me to revise in med school. I will find different ways to explain certain topics to myself so that I can fully understand them, and I have found this effective when I’ve taken part in mentoring schemes at my university. This is what makes me so enthusiastic about tutoring and I can see myself taking teaching roles in the future of my carrer. I then completed A-levels in Biology, Psychology, and Physical Education, developing a strong understanding of human science, behaviour, and performance. Following my A-levels, I applied to the University of Worcester, where I am currently in my first year studying Health Sciences and progressing onto a Physiotherapy degree pathway.

Hello! I’m a native Spanish and Catalan teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience and a BA (Honours) in Arts and Humanities, specialising in Spanish language and culture. I work with children, teenagers and adults at all levels. I help GCSE students who need support building confidence as well as those aiming for top grades (7–9). I also teach beginners and adults who want to learn Spanish for travel, work or personal interest. My lessons are interactive, supportive and adapted to each student’s needs. I focus on building confidence in speaking while strengthening grammar and vocabulary in a clear and engaging way. I'm an undergraduate Economics BSC student at the University of Warwick. I achieved four A*s at A Level and I have 3 years of tutoring experience already. My goal is to help my students to achieve the best grades they can, regardless of which stage of education they are in as well as offer student advice on applying to university (should they be an A-Level student), having gone through the process recently.
