Hi, I’m Chloe! I’m a friendly and enthusiastic tutor offering 11+, GCSE and A Level Geography and Sociology. I love helping students build confidence and genuinely enjoy what they are learning. I have 7 years of experience working with children through inclusive theatre company Chickenshed, where I am a Group Leader working with children of different ages and abilities. This means I have extensive experience working with young people with neurodiversity as well as physical disabilities. This has taught me how to adapt activities and explanations to suit individual needs. My name is Charlie and i would love to help you feel more confident in your efforts to learn english to a higher level. I will tell you a brief story of why i am an english teacher. I am originally from England. I have lived in England all my life and was born there , i have also studied in 4 different schools and one college also. I have also been working secularly since i was 17 in a joiners shop making furniture. Since covid began and my boss retired i started working as a handyman and being my own boss. Then I met a girl from Spain called Sora, we began talking everyday. Now we are married and living in Tarragona in Spain. Here in Spain i have been teaching English conversation. Helping my students by giving them practice in speaking lessons and culture lessons too. I enjoy teaching and have been doing so on donation basis in order to help my students. These lessons that i have been conducting have sharpened my teaching methods. I look forward to helping all those who wish to practice and improve their English vocabulary, fluency and grammar with whatever else i can do to make those who wish to learn English feel more comfortable and confident. I look forward to our future learning experiences together. As i mentioned earlier i have studied in four different schools and one college in England. I am One of Jehovahs Witnesses and for many years i have taught lessons to people of the public about the Bible voluntarily . I have been to a one week course in how to teach the Bible Effectively. I have also been on a two week course in learning Tagalog as for a short period in my life i and my family was contacting and teaching those from the Philippines in my hometown in England. As you can see my lives training has not been focused on English teaching. Yet now it is and consequently i am trying my best to be the best teacher i can be. I’m someone who enjoys helping others understand things and grow in confidence, especially in maths. I’ve previously given private lessons to classmates, and I found it rewarding to see a topic click after we worked through it together. My approach is to break problems into manageable steps and explain them clearly, adapting to the person I’m helping. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s an important part of learning. Outside of studying, I enjoy reading and playing football. Hi, I’m Henry - a 3rd year Mechanical Engineering student studying at Imperial. I offer tutoring services for A level, GCSE and KS3 Maths and Physics along with university application guidance. I have a strong background in Maths and Physics, with A*A at A-Level, and I’m currently applying these subjects in applied engineering. Therefore, I understand the fundamentals taught at school and know how to explain them clearly, as well as show how they connect to real-world applications. In Canada I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry, with a Major in Outdoor Leadership. I worked in this field for a few years, but eventually found myself drawn to the business and financial side of things in the organization that I worked for. In the future, I would like to pursue education and work in business and finance. My favorite hobby is being active in the outdoors. I enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking, and almost anything else that gets me outside and being active. I also love to relax with a good book on a quite day or evening. My other qualifications are not particularly connected to tutoring. I am certified to teach a number of adventure activities. I am a Top Rope Climbing instructor, certified by the ACMG, I am a level 1 Mountain Bike instructor, certified with PMBIA, OCC Hiking Field Leader, and I also took an 80 wilderness first aid course. These things give a bit of a picture about what I am interested in, and what I have pursued learning about or teaching in my life. Tutoring is new to me, but I do have a lot of experience with teaching and instructing in an outdoor context. I think I can easily apply my outdoor instruction and facilitation skills, to tutoring.

I'm a university student in my 3rd year studying at the University of Manchester. I'm studying Russian and French language. I'm currently doing my residence abroad and am starting in Yerevan, Armenia and will go to Astana, Kazakhstan in February and France in summer. I have also trained in Tae Kwon do for the past 15 years. I did my GCSEs at Queensbridge school, Birmingham and received 10 qualifications from grades 7-9. In my first year at the University of Manchester I did Russian from abinitio level and averaged a 90 across the year and French from post-A level and averaged a 73. I averaged a 76 in my first year overall. In my second year I averaged an 85 in Russian language and a 76 in French language and a 71 overall for the year.
