Hiya! My name is Saskia, I am 18 years old and currently studying (BA) Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. My hobbies include playing rugby and watching f1. I just completed my A-levels this past summer in Psychology, Biology and Maths, and I specialise in teaching psychology (A-level). Mathematics deepened my confidence in tackling complex problems, Law improved my ability to form structured arguments, and Computer Science further developed my technical knowledge and passion for computing. I am currently a first year Psychology student at the University of Manchester, with a strong passion for the subject. I am passionate about helping students not only understand the subject, but also to excel in it. My teaching involves breaking down complex ideas clearly, allowing for full engagement. Hello. My name is Darren Beech and I have been a Science Teacher for 26 years. I have taught all three science specialisms at key stage 3 (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), Biology and Chemistry at GCSE and A level Biology. I have taught all ability ranges over these years and have had exemplary success with the students in my classes. Having left main school teacher in the summer of 2025 to care for a disabled parent, I have moved into tutoring to continue passing on my passion for science and to help continue to get students to progress through their qualifications. I have then taught in 4 schools over my career as a teacher of science, where I also had additional responsibilities such as Head of Biology and Deputy Head of the 6th form.

I am passionate about Chemistry, with a PhD in the subject and over five years of tutoring experience. Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you!
