My name is Gemma and I am an English and Drama Graduate from Exeter University, 2:1 with a Creative Writing Dissertation. I have aspirations in teaching at Secondary School level and classroom and mentoring experience. I have worked for a year post graduation as a Sabbatical Officer in the Students Union. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing poetry and performing. I achieved 1x 7, 2x 8, 2x A* and 7x 9 in my GCSE's and 3x A at A level in English, Drama and Philosophy and Ethics. I took a gap year working, and volunteered in my school supporting extracurricular drama, and I have since returned 3x with paid opportunities, 2x teaching in music and drama. I went to Exeter University and studied English and Drama acheiving a 2:1 and departmental commendation for contributing to the life of the department. During my time at University I took on leadership and mentoring roles in extracurricular and this led me to my current position as a Sabbatical Officer advocating for Students in the University.

I’m currently studying Health Sciences at the University of Worcester, progressing onto a Physiotherapy degree, which has strengthened my understanding of how people learn, communicate, and develop confidence. I completed my GCSEs and A-levels at a grammar school, where I built strong academic foundations and effective study habits that I now help students develop themselves. Alongside my studies, I’ve played rugby, which has developed my teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills — qualities I bring into my tutoring style. I also have ADHD and dyslexia, which has given me a strong understanding that every student learns differently, allowing me to adapt my teaching approach to suit individual learning styles and support students who may lack confidence or feel overwhelmed. I also have a strong interest in music production, which has helped me develop creativity, patience, and problem-solving skills. I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities. I attended Gravesend Grammar School after successfully passing the 11+ entrance examination, where I studied from Year 7 through to Year 11 before continuing into the Sixth Form. At GCSE level, I completed Higher Mathematics, English Language and English Literature, Geography, Physical Education, Business Studies, French, and Higher Combined Science. I achieved Grade 7s and strong passes across my core subjects, including the sciences, English, Geography, and Physical Education, with Grade 5s in my remaining subjects. I then completed A-levels in Biology, Psychology, and Physical Education, developing a strong understanding of human science, behaviour, and performance. Following my A-levels, I applied to the University of Worcester, where I am currently in my first year studying Health Sciences and progressing onto a Physiotherapy degree pathway.

Hello! I’m a native Spanish and Catalan teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience and a BA (Honours) in Arts and Humanities, specialising in Spanish language and culture. I work with children, teenagers and adults at all levels. I help GCSE students who need support building confidence as well as those aiming for top grades (7–9). I also teach beginners and adults who want to learn Spanish for travel, work or personal interest. My lessons are interactive, supportive and adapted to each student’s needs. I focus on building confidence in speaking while strengthening grammar and vocabulary in a clear and engaging way. Hi, I’m Emma! I’m currently studying Biochemistry with French at university, and I really enjoy helping students understand difficult topics in a clear and simple way. I am a Cambridge Engineering student offering online tutoring in Maths, Further Maths and Physics for GCSE and A-Level students. I am a 3rd year biomedical engineering student at University College London. I come from an international background and I have been tutoring my whole life, since age 14 and pride myself on making sure that the way I teach is enjoyable and engaging. I love to chat with people so getting to know my student and what they enjoy is very important as a part of teaching. My hobbies are triathlon and goint to the gym. I also follow football very closely. I went to the English School of Kyrenia in the TRNC. It is an international school and therefore I did IGCSEs and International A Levels. I did my A Levels in Maths, Physics and Biology and achieved an A grade in all three as well as 8s and 9s in all of my IGCSEs. While at school I spent free time tutoring younger years. I now attend University College London and am in my third year of Biomedical Engineering. I have been tutoring 2 family friends aged 16 for their IGCSEs and I tutored my younger brother A Level Physics and Maths while balancing my university degree. My degree has a perfect balance of Maths, Physics, and Biology, making me feel confident that my knowledge is up to date and constantly developing, allowing me to tutor the subjects to a high level. Hello, my name’s Benjamin. I’m patient, approachable, and passionate about maths and physics. I’ve always enjoyed talking about the subjects I love, partly because I think they’re really cool, but also because I believe it’s important to be curious about the world around us. My approach to learning is based on understanding things from first principles. I think it’s much better to build strong foundations than to simply memorise facts or methods without really knowing why they work. If you understand something properly, you shouldn’t have to remember very much at all and that makes learning a lot easier and more enjoyable. I also like connecting concepts to real-world examples, as this can make abstract ideas feel much more concrete. For example, Faraday’s law helps explain how wireless charging works! As a tutor, I aim to make lessons clear, engaging, and supportive, helping students build confidence as well as knowledge. I completed my A-levels at Bristol Grammar School in Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry, achieving A*A*A*A. In Year 12, I also gained a distinction in the Advanced Extension Award in Maths. I am now in my final year studying Physics at the University of Oxford.

Hi! I'm Connor and I am studying Physics at university! At uni my favorite topic is space and galaxies. In my spare time I work on old cars and do astrophotography. I am dyslexic, so I understand that different people have different approaches to learning and that there is no single correct way to go about it!
