Hello, my name is Lorenzo and I am an Italian mathematician. I have been a university lecturer of maths at the Department of Pharmacology of the University of Rome Sapienza for 4 academic years. I have worked at an international college school in Rome (courses fully taught in English language) as a teacher of maths and physics for students of years 10 and 11, following UK Cambridge curriculum and preparing them for the IGCSE exam. Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise.
