My name is Whitman, and I am a third-year at the University of Chicago studying Astrophysics and Economics with a minor in Classics. Originally born in New York City, I grew up in London my entire life where I completed the IB Diploma. Outside of academics, I row at UChicago, play piano, and love to read. I am currently studying Astrophysics and Economics with a minor in Classics at the University of Chicago. I also completed my IB Diploma with HL Maths AA, HL Physics, HL Economics, HL History, SL English Lang. & Lit., and SL Spanish B. My specialisations include all of my HL subjects, and also Spanish as after graduating highschool I lived and worked in Argentina.

I am passionate about teaching Maths because I enjoy helping students see that Maths is not something that is impossible but with help even the most complex topics can be broken down simply. It is especially nice when students come back to you with better results more confidence and a big smile. I can teach Mathematics for A-Levels and below. Big fan of football, cricket (which I play competitively for a club in the Surrey Leagues), video games and recently F1 I would like to preferably tutor students in secondary school, however I am open for Primary school students as well. Hi I’m Krithi! I’m a friendly and enthusiastic tutor who enjoys helping students become more confident in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I know that some topics can feel overwhelming, so I like to break them down into simple steps and explain them in different ways until they make sense. I’m patient, approachable and encourage students to ask questions and learn from mistakes. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy swimming and spending time with my family and friends. I’m really looking forward to helping students achieve their goals and enjoy their learning journey! I attended Highfields School, where I completed my GCSEs achieving all 7s, 8s and 9s, and subsequently studied A-level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, achieving AAA. I am now preparing to begin my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Birmingham. My main academic specialisations are Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, with a particular interest in Biology and the biomedical sciences. I am particularly interested in how scientific knowledge can be applied to understand the human body and disease. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience supporting and tutoring younger students, including helping Year 11 students with their GCSE preparation. This has taught me how important it is to adapt explanations to each student's individual needs and learning style. I enjoy breaking challenging topics into smaller, manageable steps and encouraging students to work things out independently rather than simply giving them the answer.
