Hi! I'm a second year undergraduate student at the University of Bath studying Economics. I'm a keen kayaker and enjoy cooking. My specialty is in Mathematics, having performed well at both GCSE and A-Levels, and have experience assisting with students, including those with poor reading comprehension. A*, A*, A, B in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology and History at A-Level. I was a part of a programme to assist the reading of children with poor developmental skills, and have taken part in my university’s peer mentor scheme, aiding new students as they begin a new chapter.

Hello! I have been a tutor for 8 years with ages 4-17 in a variety of subjects including English, History and Philosophy. I am happy to teach 11+ and English for primary school students, English, RS and History to GCSE level and I am also able to teach A- level History, Ethics and Philosophy. I have worked with children through Debate Mate teaching politics; my students competed at a national level and were extremely successful. I am very calm and patient and I can make lessons engaging for all ages. In my spare time, I meet up with my friends and my boyfriend- I love being in nature! I also spend a lot of time travelling particularly to German-speaking countries to better my language. If I’m doing none of these things then I will be at home cuddling with my kittens. I have graduated from the University of Manchester with a 2:1 BA(Hons) in Politics and German. I acquired 3 A-levels in History, Philosophy and Ethics and German with AAC as the final results. As mentioned previously, I have tutored for many years and I am well equipped to work with children who are anxious or may need that extra bit of support to build their confidence. This is one of the most important parts of the job for me; I take a huge amount of pride in my students and will do everything possible to make them comfortable and believe in their abilities.
