Hello, I'm Susan and I tutor chemistry and maths up to GCSE level. I am currently a second-year chemical engineering student. I studied chemistry, physics and maths at a level before taking a gap year. When I'm not buried in uni work, you’d probably find me reading a book, playing some netball or trying to pick up a new hobby. I am currently a second year Chemical Engineering student. At a level I studied Chemistry (AQA), Physics (AQA) and Maths (Edexcel).I have a good understanding of both maths and chemistry and have had informal experience tutoring younger students during chemistry and maths drop in sessions.

I am currently a student at the University of Birmingham, in my final year of a Geography (BA) degree. I am also the social sec at the Radio society for my uni. At Sixthform, I completed 3 A Levels - A* Sociology, A Geography, A* Media. I really enjoyed getting stuck into work at Sixthform and developed an effective plan and timetable for revision. I have always been curious and love solving problems, which led me to study biochemistry at university before moving into software development. I enjoy challenges, whether it’s in science, coding, or everyday life, and I find it really rewarding to figure things out. During lockdown, I even taught myself how to solve a Rubik’s Cube, which was a fun way to test my patience and problem-solving skills. Beyond work, I love learning new things through reading and watching documentaries.
