Hi! I’m Emilia, a Maths and Physics tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students gain confidence in STEM subjects. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at A-level, and recently completed my BSc in Mathematics and Physics. I’m now continuing my studies at the University of Cambridge, where I’m pursuing a Master’s (MPhil) in Data Intensive Science. I’ve been tutoring for the past two years, working with students of all ages and abilities, from primary school through to A-level. I am a recent graduate with a masters degree in physics from the University of Manchester, currently working as a theoretical physics researcher. I have always loved maths and physics and feel as though the key is to find the way of understanding the subject that works for you, and this is my approach to tutoring. Hello! I have been a tutor for 8 years with ages 4-17 in a variety of subjects including English, History and Philosophy. I am happy to teach 11+ and English for primary school students, English, RS and History to GCSE level and I am also able to teach A- level History, Ethics and Philosophy. I have worked with children through Debate Mate teaching politics; my students competed at a national level and were extremely successful. I am very calm and patient and I can make lessons engaging for all ages. In my spare time, I meet up with my friends and my boyfriend- I love being in nature! I also spend a lot of time travelling particularly to German-speaking countries to better my language. If I’m doing none of these things then I will be at home cuddling with my kittens.
