I'm Joe and I'm an undergraduate Computer Science student at the University of Birmingham. I'm a dedicated and passionate science tutor with a degree in Biomedicine, where I focused on researching the aging brain. I am a qualified secondary science teacher, holding a PGCE and I have been tutoring for over three years now. My goal is to make science accessible and engaging for every student I work with, ensuring that each session suits every individual's needs. I offer tutoring in biology, chemistry and physics at KS3 and GCSE in addition to A level biology for AQA. I studied biology, chemistry and mathematics at A level which lead me to study Biomedicine at Lancaster University, researching the effects of insulin in brain aging in an attempt to extend healthspan. I am a natural sciences student studying at the university of Durham. I got straight A*s and As at A level and straight 8s and 9s at GCSE (except for a 7 in history - gah, I still can't believe that happened!) I have over a dozen students and I've been tutoring for half a year. I have worked as an astronomer at UMK, a science writer at UOS, and of course a tutor here on GoStudent. I teach maths and science up to A level and I'm pretty good at it. :) I achieved seven 9s and three 8s at GCSE and 5 A*s and As at A level and I have worked as an astronomer at UMK, a writer for Southampton University, a Librarian for Portswood Library, and of course a private tutor for almost half a year now. I am particularly good at maths, which I skipped 3 years in to begin my A level studies in year 9.

My hobbies include making music, extreme sports and coding for visual arts. Im also learning German at the moment.
