Hello, my name is Frano, and I teach mathematics and physics at a lower level, GCSE, A-level(IB), and Higher Level. I have been tutoring maths and physics for AQA and Edexel entrance exams, and I also have experience with tutoring pupils from Primary all the way to the A-levels. Lower Level: 11+ preparation and maths GCSE: maths Exam Board Experience: Edexcel for maths, and 11+ entry exam About you: I am currently finishing my Masters Degree in Applied Child Psychology at the University of Sussex, after completing my BSc in Psychology and Law in 2024. I completed my A-levels during the pandemic, so I know first hand how tough online learning has been for many students, and how easy gaps in learning lead to lack of confidence in that subject. I myself have done the 11+ exam entrance exam, alongside a different entrance exam for my local Grammer school. The 11+ can be daunting, especially the non-verbal reasoning, but I believe this can be overcome during fun activities, such as puzzles and word games. Through my childhood I have loved completing word puzzles, I have many fond memories of doing word searches with my grandfather, suduko with my father and crossword puzzles with my grandmother. I believe this has broadened my perspective on life and allows me to problem solve more efficiently.

I have been a tutor since early 2020, when I started this career choice alongside working in the NHS as a mature student nurse at the University of Sheffield. I later went on to make this my full-time career, and in this time have worked with over 300 students, both long term and short term, of all different ages. I have worked both through agencies, and privately, with most of my students being referred through word of mouth. I work primarily with children in Year 5 and 6 in maths, and also children who are preparing for their Grammar School 11+ exam.
