Hi, I’m Paul. I mostlytutor Maths and Science as well as Computer Science and English as a Foreign Language, which I trained in at Columbia Teachers’ College, USA. Originally I studied for a BA in Natural Sciences. I have been a classroom teacher and tutor for over 15years, in the UK as well as South Korea, Japan and China, and more recently have developed Science courses for a large online learning platform. My tutorials are often centered around structured practice of specific topic areas, with an approach geared toward getting students to speak freely about topics in their own voices. I am happy to tailor sessions with either general revision, exam preparation or new learning and discovery in mind. In my free time, I enjoy tennis, movies and triathlons. Hope to see you soon!

Teaching you or your children is my passion. Achieving your full potential, my main target. I believe in your singularity as an individual and the reason I adapt my classes to you, and not the opposite. Full interaction is key to engage you and make you reach your full potential. Having worked with multiple year groups in primary, SEN and tutoring classes proved to me that my students and I feel more comfortable when we work together. I grew up speaking 3 languages, therefore I found it easier to pick up more languages as I already had an ear for it. This led me to study all languages at A-Level before I decided to study my bachelor's degree in music. As you can see my passions lie in various subjects so let's meet and see how we can work together. Listening and learning to who you are will be the first step to personalise and tailor the way we feel most comfortable working together. It’s not about what you learn, it’s the kind of person that the knowledge will make you out to be. As a human being, play is an essential aspect of your development. Einstein said "Play is the highest form of research”. You and my students enjoy, explore, try, fail, succeed, question everything, play and walk their own path but, always by my side.

I'm a medical student with 8+ years tutoring (A level / GCSE,). My expertise in chemistry / biology / maths. I have lots of experience in teaching humanity subjects such as English, sociology, and history. * Only AS chemistry and maths * I teach students at varying levels so it's important to adapt and adjust accordingly. If you're a visual learner, let's draw. If you're an auditory learner, let's discuss. If you're a note taker, let's learn the best note taking method for you! I do, however, encourage all my students to engage in spaced repetition learning. Whether we schedule that in during our sessions or if we use anki, this is probably the most important method of retaining information. Medical student with 5As in a-level biology, chemistry, maths, English, and sociology. GCSEs are all A*-A.

With experience in tutoring all the way up to Undergraduate level in Mathematics, Engineering and Physics, I can provide a high level of support and assistance in these fields. I am currently working towards a Doctorate in Engineering with the Universities of Exeter, Warwick, and Cranfield. After completing my A Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Geography, I completed a bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering achieving a First-Class degree in which I developed a smart electronic prosthetic system using soft robotics. Alongside my academic experience, I have developed a wide portfolio in my field. From industrial experience in Formula One to renewable energy generation, Artificial Intelligent systems and plant-based wetsuit designs, I am able to provide insights and the knowledge you need pursue Science and Engineering after your A Levels and GCSEs if you wish. I don’t just tutor and research all day either! I (try to!) surf as much as I can and I also work on various wildlife film projects, many being underwater shoots. I’m not here to judge you on your abilities. There are no stupid questions. I won’t be shouting equations at you. I like to work in a relaxed and supportive environment where we can focus on your needs and targets together while tailoring the sessions for you so that we can achieve our goals. During my time on Gostudent, I have clocked several hundred sessions, setup a purpose built tutoring desk environment with multiple cameras/ lighting to aid in tutoring and taken students from low confidence and little understanding to a point where some even chose to pursue their once hated subjects at higher level and are excelling at university/ new careers. I am confident in my tutoring abilities, have been recommended by multiple parents and become invested in my students to do the best they can. It saddens me to say I will no longer be taking any new students or trial sessions while Gostudent continue with their decision not to pay tutors for trial sessions MSc in Sustainable Materials BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering During my time on Gostudent, I have clocked several hundred sessions, setup a purpose built tutoring desk environment with multiple cameras/ lighting to aid in tutoring and taken students from low confidence and little understanding to a point where some even chose to pursue their once hated subjects at higher level and are excelling at university/ new careers. I love to travel, read, eat and try new activities! I like learning about different cultures and the history behind the cultures. I took up running during the pandemic and my aim is to one day run a half marathon and once that's achieved, run a full marathon. I love teaching and am very passionate about it. I did GCSEs in Maths, English, Science, RS, Drama, ICT, Business Studies, and got additional qualifications such as Critical Thinking AS Level when I was in secondary school. My A Levels were in English Literature and Language, Accounting and Economics. My Bachelor's degree was in Accounting and Finance and I proceeded to get a PGCE after a year of doing a Maths Enhancement Course to qualify to teach Secondary Maths.

Hello there! I am an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor with a genuine passion for nurturing the potential in every student. With a friendly and approachable teaching style, I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore their curiosities. My approach to tutoring is comfortable, finding ways of engaging my student, while at the same time, I remain very focused on generating positive results and success with your subject. I am very interested that my students participate actively in the lesson, and feel comfortable to ask questions and to become a confident and empowered learner. I aim to always be approachable, even outside of class, so that the student will not hesitate to reach out. I found that the best results are generated after the initial stage - where good rapport and trust is established - maintaining an ongoing relationship and long-term commitment is a key recipe to success. I look forward to meeting each one of my tutees! I hold a postgraduate degree in Economics and over 500h of tutoring experience in Economics, Politics, 11+ subjects and Mathematics. I am looking forward to being able to meet new people through teaching online, coaching my students may have with their subjects in a fun, friendly, and engaging manner! I have also assisted undergraduate students from various fields by helping them write critical reviews, appraisals, and essays. My support primarily focuses on elements such as organization, structure, critical analysis, research, secondary reading, and writing. I have provided guidance to students in different disciplines to enhance their writing skills and improve the quality of their academic work.

I, having acquired the CertTESOL certificate, possess a profound understanding of delivering the target language through context. Through real-world applications, children can enjoy learning in a fun and interactive manner. Teaching Methodology: I favour the ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) method. Firstly, I engage and captivate the class. Next, they study the target language, followed by controlled practice activities. Finally, they engage in free practice activities related to the target language.
