My name is Karima! I currently study an Economics degree at Swansea University and achieved A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Economics. I have been tutoring for over 5 years and enjoy being able to transfer my knowledge to others whilst instilling within them why their education is so important. I attained 10 grade 7-9s at GCSE in Business, History and Drama, and progressed to study A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Economics. I tutored English Language, Reading, KS2, KS3 and 11+ content on the side. I am currently studying BsC Economics at Swansea University.

I am a passionate and dedicated tutor currently studying Economics in my first year at university. I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree. My strong academic background in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Geography enables me to offer well-rounded and insightful tutoring.
