Lower Level: Maths, Science, French and English GCSE: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, French, Maths and Italian A-Level: Chemistry Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexcel, 11+, medical school application Languages: English ( mother tongue) and Italian (fluent) SEND: No experience Preferred student age group: Primary and GCSE Hi there, I'm Gabriele. I'm currently in my second year of med school at Newcastle University, juggling my studies with a taste for adventure. Growing up bilingual (thanks to my English father and Italian mother), I've had the privilege of experiencing two vibrant cultures. Most of our family vacations revolve around my Italian heritage, which is something I truly cherish. When I'm not nose-deep in my medical textbooks, you can catch me kicking a football on the field or sweating it out at the gym. Staying active is a big deal for me. Plus, I'm all about exploring new avenues. This year, I decided to give bouldering a shot – it's quite hard at first but once you get the hang of it, it can be really good fun. Sports are woven into the fabric of my life, whether I'm the one playing or just an eager spectator. Whether it's the heart-pounding excitement of football, the strategic moves in tennis, or the lightning-speed action of F1, I'm hooked. As a tutor, I'm excited to bring my diverse background and interests to the table. Whether you're aiming to conquer your studies or looking to dive into something fresh and exciting, I'm here to help you along the way. Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. The goal is to familiarise yourself with exam techniques to the point where exam questions do not startle you. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. Luckily, I received offers from Oxford and Warwick for Graduate-Entry Medicine.

My name's Uzair, and I'm an undergraduate student studying Chemistry and Molecular Physics at the University of Nottingham. Over my past three years at university, I've learned a lot, and figured it may prove useful to try to help others strive toward realising their best selves as far as academic growth is concerned. Speaking from personal experience, the learning process can feel incredibly daunting at times, but I'm hoping to make it more enjoyable for those who believe that's something they'd benefit from. At GCSE I achieved 5A*s, 3As, 2Bs and a C. My A*s included Maths (which I sat a year early), Physics and Chemistry - and I also got an A in Further Maths. At A-Level I achieved A*A*A - in Maths, Chemistry and Physics respectively. Enjoyed those a lot! At university, I've been studying Chemistry and Molecular Physics. I'll be entering my fourth and final year in September, and am projected to get a 2:1!
