I am passionate about Chemistry, with a PhD in the subject and over five years of tutoring experience. My tutoring style is to ensure a solid foundation in the core concepts, then practicing the skills with exam questions. I cover all exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel etc) and all topics in Chemistry at GCSE and A level. My highest level of education is a PhD in Chemistry from Durham University. I also obtained an MChem with First Class Honours from Durham University. My A level subjects were Chemistry, Maths, Biology and French (all A grades), as well as 11 A* grades at GCSE.

My name is Harrison, I am studying electrical engineering at the University of Nottingham. I am passionate about tutoring particularly GCSE Maths. My hobbies include Jiu-Jitsu where I occasionally participate in tournaments and the robotics society at the University of Nottingham working on PCB design and control systems. I am attending the University of Nottingham studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering. At A-level I studied at New College Doncaster where I achieved an A* in Maths and Further Maths, an A in physics and a Distinction* in CTECH IT. Having lived in four different countries, I understand first-hand the challenges and experiences of international students, and I bring this awareness into my tutoring through an empathetic and flexible approach. Last year, I had the opportunity to teach abroad in Switzerland, where I taught English to French, German, and Italian students learning it as a second language. I studied BSc Neuroscience at the University of Sussex before completing an MSc in Psychology & Neuroscience of Mind Body interface at King’s College London, where I achieved a Distinction in my thesis.
