Hi! My name is Hridita and I am currently a medical student. I have around 6 years experience tutoring students from KS1 to GCSE level. I mainly focus on teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics because these are the subjects I enjoy the most and have gained the experience teaching. I recognise that each student has a different way of learning, so I like working towards finding the best teaching style for each of them.

Currently studying (MEng) Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering at the University of Sheffield, I am a dedicated Maths and Physics tutor, with around an 2-3 years total experience in person and online, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades. My approach combines the structured discipline of established learning centres, such as Kumon (where I was a tutor for more than 2 years) and the flexible touch of indepedent 1 on 1 tutoring. I achieved a Grade 9 in Maths and all Sciences in my GCSEs and got an A in Physics at A level. I have also had experience tutoring 11+ briefly, and have passed the 11+ myself in 2017. As a student who completed his GCSE exams 3 years ago, I can provide tailored advice and the most up-to-date tips and tricks to help students flourish and achieve top marks. I went to a selective state-grammar school based on 11+ scores called Lawrence Sheriff School for all of my secondary school years and 6th form. I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels here achieving almost all A*/A scores in every subject. Currently, I am at University studying (MEng) Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering at the University of Sheffield.

Hi, I’m Udit! I’m currently working as a Lecturer in Medical Sciences at the University of Lancashire. I hold a PhD in Chemistry and was awarded the prestigious Marie Curie PhD Fellowship — a highly competitive international research scholarship. I also have a Master’s degree in Chemistry (with Distinction) and a First Division Bachelor’s in Chemistry. Over the past ten years, I’ve taught Science at GCSE, A Level, and undergraduate levels. I previously taught at Bedford College, where I worked closely with students studying for AQA and OCR exams. I now teach undergraduate Chemistry at university level, and I’m passionate about helping students build a deep and lasting understanding of the subject. In my lessons, I focus on strengthening core concepts so students can approach more complex ideas with confidence. I like to begin by working through a few basic questions to identify areas of focus, and then tailor the lesson accordingly. My sessions usually include discussion, problem-solving, and past paper practice, always with your goals in mind. I’ve been tutoring online for several years and really enjoy the flexibility and focus it offers. Whether you’re preparing for exams, tackling the UCAT, or simply want to feel more confident with Science, I’d be happy to support your learning journey. Let’s work together to unlock your potential! I completed my school and sixth form education at St Paul’s Church College in Agra, India, where I achieved strong grades in science subjects, particularly Chemistry and Biotechnology. I then studied for a BSc in Chemistry and Zoology, graduating with Honours in Chemistry, and went on to complete an MSc in Chemistry with distinction at Dayalbagh Educational Institute, India. Later, I moved to the UK to pursue a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Lancashire. My doctoral research focused on improving the stability of materials used in solar panels and electronic devices. Through this, I gained hands-on experience with advanced laboratory methods and international research facilities. Alongside my academic background, I have taught science across various levels. I previously taught GCSE Science, A Level Chemistry, and Applied Science courses at Bedford College, where I also led the T Level Science programme and supported curriculum development. I now work as an Associate Lecturer in Medical Sciences at the University of Lancashire. My main area of expertise is Chemistry, particularly physical and inorganic chemistry, but I also have a solid understanding of Biology and experience supporting students across all science disciplines. My tutoring style is calm, clear, and tailored to each learner’s needs, whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A Levels, or looking for extra support at university level. I aim to help students build confidence, develop a deeper understanding of science, and succeed in both exams and future studies.

Hi! I’m Ann — a second-year medical student who loves painting, reading, and (recently) horse riding. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning new things, but I also understand how tough studying can feel when you’re stuck, stressed, or unsure where to start. That’s a huge part of why I tutor — I want to make learning feel lighter, clearer, and way less overwhelming. I’m not the type of tutor who just reads off a screen or throws information at you. I like to explain things in a simple, friendly way, break topics down into small steps, and make sure you actually understand the idea, not just memorise it. Everyone learns differently, so I always adjust the pace and style to whatever works best for you. If you’re someone who loses motivation, gets anxious about exams, or feels like certain subjects just “don’t make sense,” don’t worry — I’ve been there too. We’ll work through it together until you feel confident. I’m patient, supportive, and I’ll never make you feel bad for not knowing something. That’s literally what I’m here for. I really want my students to feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of themselves. I love seeing someone go from “I don’t get this at all” to “wait… that actually makes sense now!” It’s the best part of tutoring. If you’re looking for someone who will help you learn in a relaxed, encouraging way, I’d love to work with you. Let’s make studying feel manageable — and maybe even enjoyable. I achieved all A* in chemistry, biology and maths at GCSEs, and an A in biology for A-level through my time as a student I developed effective study techniques, which I use to support students in their learning. I am now a second year medical student.

Hi, I’m Arthi, a medical student at Queen Mary University of London with a strong passion for teaching. I specialise in tutoring Biology, Sciences, and Maths at all educational levels, and I’m committed to helping students build confidence, improve understanding, and reach their academic goals. My teaching is calm, structured, and adapted to each student’s pace and learning style. I completed both the IGCSEs and the IB Diploma, gaining a solid grounding in scientific and quantitative subjects. These programmes taught me how to break down complex ideas clearly — something I bring directly into my lessons. I also have experience with the UCAT, and have scored over 3000. My tutoring focuses on strengthening foundations, simplifying difficult topics, and improving exam skills through practice, active recall, and efficient revision strategies. I enjoy helping students who want to improve their grades, build confidence, or develop a clearer approach to studying science and maths. I also offer guidance for medical school applications, including personal statements, UCAT and interviews. I completed seven IGCSEs in India, achieving top scores in science and maths. I completed my IB Diploma Programme in London, undertaking triple sciences and HL Maths and achieved a score of 38. I am currently a first year medical student in Queen Mary University of London.

As you might have guessed, I’m passionate about animals—I have three dogs at home who I absolutely adore! One of my proudest achievements is earning my black belt in karate in 2020, a milestone I reached alongside some of my closest friends. It was a memorable and rewarding experience for all of us. I’ve also climbed the UK’s Three Peaks before turning 18, which was both physically and mentally challenging, but incredibly fulfilling. Having completed most of my A-levels through online learning during lockdown, I understand firsthand the challenges students face in remote education. This experience fuels my motivation to support students in reaching their full potential. I believe that building confidence and unlocking learning potential are key to lifelong success. I have worked with students facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, dyslexia, ADHD, and extreme shyness. I’m especially proud of the progress many of them have made—growing in confidence and communication, not just in school, but in their personal lives too. Seeing students thrive and express themselves freely is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do, and I’m committed to helping others take those same positive steps toward a brighter future. I have a range of GCSE qualifications, as well as A-Levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I completed an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) in Toxoplasmosis within sheep herds. I have also completed four online courses, they are in Animal behaviour and welfare, Ecology and ecosystems, Edivet: basics of veterinary Surgery, Canine communication.
