Hello! My name is Mara Fasano, I am Italian, and I am passionate about languages. I am very excited to get to know you and study together. Before starting, I want you to learn a little more about me. I graduated from the University of Naples with my Bachelor of Political Science, then went on to earn my Master of Education with an emphasis in International Relations. Tutoring is my life’s passion, and I have been instructing students for more than 8 years. My years of experience as a tutor have helped me form a teaching philosophy that guides how I help my students succeed. In fact, I truly believe that their success begins with making them feel comfortable, welcomed, and understood. Therefore, I always create a friendly and open relationship with my students, and I encourage them to share their questions in an unbiased and open environment. I strive to create a space for them to explore their own learning styles, then I'm there to help develop their interests and guide their absorption of the material. My goal is to provide subject-specific strategies to make challenging topics as as intuitive as possible for students, giving them the knowledge and confidence to tackle a whole range of problems. Whilst at Sixth Form, I studied A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, achieving 4 A* grades. I've also obtained 8 GCSEs at Grade 9 (including maths), alongside an A in Additional Maths. I am currently studying B.sc. Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Manchester.

My name is Laura. I am a final year medical student at Trinity College Dublin. I am living in Dublin, Ireland. I've been providing tutoring in Maths for the last 5 years. I achieved grade A+ in my leaving Certificate Maths examination. I have taught students of all levels, from primary school to Leaving Certificate/A Level standard. My approach to lessons is tailored to each individual student. First I identify the areas in which the student may be struggling with or in which the student would benefit from tutoring in. My tutoring sessions are student centered and I move at a pace that suits each student. I encourage the student to attempt sample questions during the session in order for me to assess their understanding. I adapt my teaching plan to the goals of the student and suggest questions for the student to complete in-between sessions. I have recently worked to develop a student e-learning platform (www.studentgrinds.ie). I have also created youtube videos on my account 'Laura Kehoe' (youtube user ID:HmzZLwmKOZwL3SV-aONyig ) showcasing the solutions to maths exam questions for students. I am happy to answer any questions you may have in relation to tutoring sessions. Outside of my studies, I enjoy horse-riding and running.

I am a recent graduate in mathematics from University of Cambridge. I participated at International Mathematical Olympiad and won silver medal. I have been teaching mathematics for nearly 6 years and my students vary from secondary school to university. I have experience with both online and in person tutoring. Some of my students made incredible achievements including winning medals at International level and making it to Oxford. I am incredibly friendly and very enthusiastic about discussing different maths topics. I can help you with your school curriculum, math olympiad or entrance exam preparation. My teaching methodology differs slightly from the traditional way. I like to show students the big picture of a mathematical concept and explain the motivations behind the definitions and theorems, before going deep into a topic. Being an avid problem solver, I can help students improve their problem solving ability instead of just showing the algorithm of a solution. I as a person is always very much passionate about mathematics and love to discuss different topics any time.

This program is great especially to non speaking German families, it’s recommended! Your kids can request directly what they want to learn, the tutors are kind and you kind ask them every time you’re in need of grammar corrections even outside the tutoring hours. ♥️
