I can speak 3 languages fluently, (English, Farsi and Turkish) and am currently studying two languages at degree level (Spanish and French) and have completed my year abroad.

Hi, my name is Jaismeen and I am currently studying Aerospace Engineering. I tutor Maths, Physics and Spanish, and I enjoy helping students understand difficult topics in a clear, structured and encouraging way. My teaching style is patient and flexible. I like to break topics down step by step, check understanding regularly, and adapt my explanations depending on how the student learns best. If one method does not work, I try another approach, such as visual examples, real-life situations, practice questions or simpler explanations. I have a Cambridge English certificate at B2 level, which gave me access to study in English at university, and I am multilingual. I speak Spanish, Catalan, English, Punjabi and Hindi, and I also studied French for three years at a basic level. My main specialisations are Maths, Physics and Spanish. I am especially confident explaining STEM topics clearly because I have studied them academically and also applied them practically. For example, while working in a local hardware store, I helped with tasks such as building and fixing appliances, making keys, and programming electric keys/controllers, which strengthened my practical understanding of technology and problem-solving. Outside of school, I have also taken part in robotics activities and I am involved in robotics at university. I achieved straight 9s in my GCSEs and A*s and As in A Levels, and have a particular interest in the philosophy of mathematics.
