Hi! I’m Surabhi - I love helping students not just understand their subjects, but actually enjoy learning. I focus on building confidence, finding the right approach for each person, and making lessons engaging and interactive. I’m patient, approachable, and always happy to answer questions, no matter how small or silly they may sound :) Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, art and dance! All of which helps me bring a bit of creativity into our sessions. Over the course of my education, I have developed strong knowledge in Economics but even more in English Literature - a subject I am highly passionate about, alongside effective study strategies that I now enjoy sharing with others. I have experience supporting peers through informal tutoring and study groups, helping them build confidence.

In addition, I have completed NCFE CACHE Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning, which have provided me with a solid foundation in educational practice, child development, and effective classroom support strategies. Through my professional experience, I have worked closely with children across a range of abilities, including students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). I am a structural engineer with a background in engineering and architecture. I was an IB student myself so I know how much pressure A Level, IB and GCSE students can be under. I can aid students in understanding tricky concepts by breaking down every problem into manageable pieces. I have a passion for teaching young minds and would love to help your children reach their full potential! I have a Bachelors of architecture and a Masters of engineering from UCL. I completed my IB diploma at The International School of Brussels in 2019. I focused my studies on computational fluid dynamics and have a specialized interest in English literature.

A BEng Mechanical Engineering student based in the UK who has taken A-level examinations before. I prefer mastery of concepts with the ability to employ knowledge to solve problems. I have experience with real-world engineering projects, as I am running an IMechE-affiliated aeronautical society where we develop autonomous drones for the UAS challenge. I have self-studied my A-levels, which comprise AS and A2-level Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. As a result of this solo endeavor, I have become very familiar with discipline and time management. It has helped me develop a growth mindset. I'm currently in my 2nd year. I have received straight A's during my first year transcript and am projected to maintain that grade. I employ this knowledge and critical thinking extensively for my real-world engineering projects, which aim to develop UAV's to be competitive at the national level.
