Hi! I'm Izy, and I recently completed my degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick - BA Language, Culture and Communication. I previously tutored younger children at my high school, and have since taught ESL in Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. I thoroughly enjoy both teaching English as a second language, and tutoring English subjects in the UK. I completed A-Levels in History, English Language and Maths (A*A*A), and am hoping to work as a paediatric Speech and Language therapist, after completing my Masters. I am competent in AQA Exam Boards. At University I competed at an international level for music, and really enjoy reading and learning new languages in my free time! I am currently obtaining my 120-hour TEFL certificate, as well as my Level 2 Understanding Autism qualification. I attended a state school, receiving eight grade 9s, and two grade 8s at GCSE, and A*A*A at A-Level (History, English Language, Maths). I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a 1st Class BA Hons in Language, Culture and Communication (Applied Linguistics), completing a dissertation in phonetics & phonology.

With over two decades of professional experience, I, Edwin S. Cordenete, have successfully led and contributed to a wide spectrum of IT initiatives, both locally and internationally. My career spans roles as a Software Engineer, IT Project Manager, and Consultant, during which I have delivered exceptional results in system design, project leadership, and implementing cutting-edge technologies that drive business-critical solutions. My expertise extends to software development, network and server administration, technical documentation, and ensuring quality assurance for complex IT systems. Beyond my industry achievements, I am a dedicated educator, having taught IT courses at renowned institutions including Lyceum of the Philippines University, Mapua University, and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. I’ve also mentored students in mathematics across academic levels, fostering the next generation of problem-solvers and innovators. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Master in Engineering Management with a specialization in Systems Management, I continuously refine my expertise. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Technology Management, I remain committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements. My name is Niav, I’m a second year medical student. I love teaching, helping other students achieve their best to become a step closer to their dreams. I’ve helped my students achieve 8s and 9s for GCSEs. It’s a step by step process, but this time your not alone :) I completed my GCSEs in 2022, achieving all A-A*s, subjects including; biology, chemistry , physics (triple science), maths, english, creative imedia, Spanish, geography and more . I then went onto do A Levels in Core maths, biology, chemistry and psychology. Now, I am currently a medical student who is in second year.

I’m a passionate tutor who genuinely loves teaching and helping students grow in confidence. My lessons are fun, engaging, and educational, and I always adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs. Outside of tutoring, I love Pilates it keeps me focused, energised, and balanced, which I bring into my teaching as well. I hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology with Data Analytics, which I completed with Distinction at the University of the West of Scotland. Through this program, I developed a strong foundation in core IT principles alongside advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. My studies covered areas such as data analysis, data management, information systems, and the practical application of technology to real-world problems.
