I have been tutoring with GoStudent for a couple of months now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a former Sunday-School teacher and volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. In my spare time, I enjoy singing (I'm currently taking a music theory class and hope to progress to one day play the cello) and dancing. These help me unwind and also have fun! Hello! My name is Joanne and I'm currently studying Spanish and German at UCD Dublin. I can speak 5 languages: English, Irish, German, Spanish and Italian. I love playing camogie and Gaelic football and enjoy baking, cooking and watching movies. I can tutor ordinary and higher level German and Spanish for both GCSE (junior certificate) and A level (Leaving certificate). I have about 5 years of experience in tutoring. I've been tutoring maths since 2020 to junior certificate students and I began tutoring Spanish in 2022 to leaving certificate students. I sat my leaving certificate examinations in 2020 and received 554 points. I achieved a H1 in Spanish and German. I'm currently a Spanish and German student at UCD Dublin and I went on Erasmus in Valladolid, Spain last year. I have a TEFL certification (teaching English as a foreign language) which has allowed me to work and live in Spain, teaching English to both adults and children from beginner to advanced levels.
