Hi! I’m Sahib, a Mechanical Engineering student at a top 10 UK university who loves exploring how things work and finding creative ways to make them better. Outside of studying, I’m passionate about sports and fitness - from football, to padel, to boxing I try any sport I get the opportunity to play! Music and art are a big part of my life too, as I'm always listening to music and I draw from time to time to unwind. Hello, I’m George, a qualified and experienced Science teacher specialising in Biology. I began teaching in a secondary school and sixth form in 2020 and have more than 2000 hours of teaching experience and have taught hundreds of students across KS3, GCSE, and A-level, helping them achieve real progress and confidence in their science studies. My passion for teaching began during a volunteer placement in Ghana in 2016, where I taught English and helped coach local sports teams, seeing first-hand the transformative power of education. I later supported first-year university students as a Peer Assisted Study Leader at the University of Bristol, further developing my skills in guiding students to achieve their potential. I hold a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Bristol and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Secondary Science from the University of Buckingham. Through my university studies, I have not only gained expert science subject knowledge but I also have an excellent understanding of the latest teaching methods to help facilitate learning and, ultimately, help pupils achieve their goals. Following this, I attended the University of Bristol, a Russel Group university which is renowned for its world-leading research and academic excellence. Here, I achieved my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. Following this, I began working towards achieving qualified teacher status and took my first post as a teacher of Science at a secondary school in 2020. I attended the university of Buckingham and completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Education with a focus on Science in order to become a qualified teacher. Through my university studies, I have not only gained expert science subject knowledge but I also have an excellent understanding of the latest teaching methods to help facilitate learning and, ultimately, help pupils achieve their goals. Further to this I also have other experience in coaching and mentoring roles. In 2016, I volunteered for 6 weeks in a primary school in Accra, Ghana. My primary role was teaching English to students, but given that I have achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training and level 1 qualified rugby coach, I also helped to introduce organised sport in the school and also coached local men's rugby team, the Dansoman Hurricanes.

Hi, my name is Aoife, I am 18 years old and currently a first year law student at the University of Leeds (and an aspiring human rights lawyer!). My special subject is English, primarily English literature. My highest academic achievements are my 3 A levels (A* in politics, A in history, B in English literature). I am willing to tutor the English subject to all ages, especially primary and secondary as I believe this is when that extra boost in confidence is so important! My passion for English is reflected in my GCSE grades too - achieving a grade 9 in English language and grade 8 in English literature. I have previous experience with children with SEN needs such as autism and ADHD, shaping my teaching style as one of patience and prioritising clarity without exerting pressure on a student. I personally struggled with confidence in both primary and secondary school, and going through tutoring myself helped with this enormously. My personal hobbies include reading and creating artwork in my free time. I look forward to helping you/your child with English and literacy skills! For secondary school I attended Carr Manor Community school, achieving GSCEs all grade 7 and above. I excelled in humanities subjects, with a grade 9 in both history and English language and a grade 8 in English literature. My academic passion carried on into my A levels which I completed at Notre Dame Catholic VI Form College. I achieved an A* in A level politics, A in A level history and a B in English literature. I have gone on to be accepted to study law at the University of Leeds, a Russell group university.
