Hi there! I'm Tami Okono, and I'm excited to be your tutor. I'm currently studying Economics and I'm in my final year at University. I'm 21 years old and I really like the colour green. When I'm not studying, you can usually find me cooking up something tasty or playing table tennis. Before my time in the UK, I completed my early education through secondary school at Greensprings School in Nigeria, where I developed a passion for learning and a global perspective on education.

Hi! I'm Izy, and I recently completed my degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick - BA Language, Culture and Communication. I previously tutored younger children at my high school, and have since taught ESL in Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. I thoroughly enjoy both teaching English as a second language, and tutoring English subjects in the UK. I completed A-Levels in History, English Language and Maths (A*A*A), and am hoping to work as a paediatric Speech and Language therapist, after completing my Masters. I am competent in AQA Exam Boards. At University I competed at an international level for music, and really enjoy reading and learning new languages in my free time! I am currently obtaining my 120-hour TEFL certificate, as well as my Level 2 Understanding Autism qualification. I attended a state school, receiving eight grade 9s, and two grade 8s at GCSE, and A*A*A at A-Level (History, English Language, Maths). I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a 1st Class BA Hons in Language, Culture and Communication (Applied Linguistics), completing a dissertation in phonetics & phonology.

About me I love to travel, explore new places and meet people from different cultures. I spent ten years living in Athens, Greece where I worked as a private tutor: teaching TEFL to a wide variety of people - from complete beginners to students wishing to take Cambridge Proficiency exams in order to access UK universities. As a tutor I am not there to add pressure, but to help take pressure off. In terms of hobbies, I love reading, writing stories, and watching Turkish TV dramas. I am also a huge tennis fan. Last, but not least, I enjoy all forms of sugar - especially cake! Aside from my degree, I am qualified to teach TEFL. I really enjoy working with those who don't have English as a first language. It's a thrill to help them improve their speaking and listening - as well as reading and writing skills. It's wonderful to see them grow in confidence when expressing themselves in English. Furthermore, I am qualified to do proofreading. This fits in well with teaching English. I also have a certificate in Counselling Skills.

Hi, my name is Keeley and I'm from the North East of England. The subjects I tutor are the following: - All primary school subjects (including 11+) - GCSE and A Level Geography - GCSE and A Level Psychology - GCSE and A Level Sociology - GCSE and A Level Biology - GCSE Science - GCSE English Language and Literature - English as an additional language (EAL/ESL) For these subjects, I have experience tutoring students on all of the main exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, WJEC/Eduqas, OCR and CIE. Additionally, I have experience tutoring IGCSE students and students with ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, learning disabilities and a variety of mental health struggles. I have always had a huge passion for education and enjoy learning and helping others learn. I have had personal struggles with mental health conditions that have previously impacted my education as well as being autistic, therefore I am aware of the effects these things can have on people and take these into consideration with everything I do.
