I’m Imnan Malik, a motivated 1st year Medical Student with strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. My academic strengths in A-Level Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry (achieved A/A* grades) reflect both my dedication to learning and my ability to explain complex topics clearly. Through my volunteer work as a youth worker and hospital befriender, I’ve developed patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt my approach to different individuals. I’m passionate about tutoring because I enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts, supporting their academic growth, and building their confidence in learning. I began my secondary education in 2018, where I completed 9 GCSEs with top grades (9–7 / A*–A). In September 2023, I attended Sixth Form, where I pursued A-levels in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry, and achieved A*AA*. I also hold the position of President of the Medic Society, where I chair meetings, organise keynote speaker events, and collaborate with peers to support aspiring medical students, further honing my organisational and leadership abilities.

I believe biology is best understood when one can visualize the concepts well and when each of the processes are broken down to the steps that they are composed of. It's when difficult concepts are broken down into easier digestible concepts is when studying really becomes fun. Biology and Chemistry go hand in hand, a good grasp of concepts in chemistry is extremely important to pursue biology at higher levels. Hobbies: Apart from academics, I've been an avid reader and have had an equally intense love for the arts particularly singing and painting. I have been classically trained in both music and art, and I believe having a co-curricular activity one enjoys and has talent for should be pursued by everyone. I also am an avid reader and absolutely love a nice slice of life or academic research paper to keep both my creative outlet and knowledge base updated. I completed my schooling and Bachelors in Biomedical Science at the University of Delhi, India and am then went on to pursue my masters in Molecular and Cellular Biology in Germany at LMU, Munich. I've had a penchant for the sciences particularly biology and chemistry since middle school which led me to pursue my bachelors in Biomedical Science from the University of Delhi. Since I want to further my career into research I'm now working as a Research Assistant in Munich and plan to pursue my PhD in Epigenetics as well as actively communicate my research through scientific illustrations in the coming years.

My name is Katy and I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Politics & Modern History. I have been living in Spain & France so am fluent in both languages whilst tutoring to a wide range of ages for the past few years. I am calm, interactive and experienced and enjoy working with students to help achieve their goals. I am TEFL certified, and have plenty of experience with all GCSE & A level examination boards. With regards to languages, I am able to support students in all aspects of exam preparation, from reading & writing to speaking & listening. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Modern History & Politics from the University of Manchester in 2021, where I specialised in Russian & Chinese history, as well as Modern African history, whilst including modules in advanced Spanish.
