Hello! My name is Ria, and I am a Chemical Engineering graduate with Honours from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where I completed my degree in November 2025. I am passionate about education and enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities. While I primarily tutor Mathematics, I can also assist with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I am comfortable teaching learners from Grade R through Grade 12, although I particularly enjoy working with younger students between the ages of 6 and 12, as this is such an important stage for building strong academic foundations. In addition, I completed several engineering design projects involving distillation design, reactor design, process simulation, process optimisation, and process control. These projects required the use of engineering software and the application of theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. They also strengthened my teamwork, problem-solving, and project management abilities. Throughout my academic journey, I have regularly assisted family members, friends, and classmates with their studies, ranging from school-level mathematics and science to university-level engineering concepts.
