Hello! I’m Ramla, a dedicated tutor specializing in Chemistry and Biology at both GCSE and A-Level. Currently in my 5th year of medical school, I have been tutoring since 2021, helping students excel in their academic endeavors. I’m Avalon! I’m 22 years old, I’ve recently graduated with a degree in Chemistry from Cardiff University. I’m currently doing my PhD in Computational Chemistry (also at Cardiff University). My teaching style is very methodical but still aims to pass on my enthusiasm for my subject. 1st class BSc in Chemistry with a Placement year abroad: 2021-2025. Currently doing a PhD in Computational Chemistry: 2025-2029. A-levels Maths (A), Chemistry (A), Physics (B): 2019-2021. GCSEs achieved grades 7-9 in Maths, English and all three sciences.

I am passionate about teaching Maths because I enjoy helping students see that Maths is not something that is impossible but with help even the most complex topics can be broken down simply. It is especially nice when students come back to you with better results more confidence and a big smile. I can teach Mathematics for A-Levels and below. Big fan of football, cricket (which I play competitively for a club in the Surrey Leagues), video games and recently F1 I would like to preferably tutor students in secondary school, however I am open for Primary school students as well. I was born in Cologne, Germany. I live now in Cornwall in the UK. I also lived 10 years in Amsterdam where I studied Fine Art. I hold a PGCE teaching qualification and a Level 3 certificate in English and Math. I am learning Swedish on my Duolingo app as I really enjoy learning new languages:) In my free time I enjoy making furniture pieces out of various woods. I like sports as well, especially racket sports like table tennis and tennis. I hold a PGCE qualification from Cornwall College Camborne. I also hold a Level 3 certificate in English and Math. I have a BA Hons on Fine Arts, a Level 2 Media Technician certificate and I did my A-Levels in German, Math, Biology and Art. I also hold a Level 2 certificate in Furniture Making.
