My name is Samhita Andhavarapu and I'm a 1st year med student studying abroad! I did Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A-level I will be teaching A-Level Maths and Biology I have some experience in teaching both subjects when I used to mentor some students in high school with GCSE maths and Biology I am determined to prepare well before the class. Therefore, I will try to adapt my teaching style to the students needs and based on the best way that they learn. I got A's in both subjects at A-Level I got A's in Maths and Biology at A-Level. I received a 7 in GCSE Biology and a 9 in GCSE Maths and Further Maths. As I am now studying medicine at university I feel like my level of knowledge for Biology and Maths is strong. However, if I do not know something I will be prepared to learn and then help my student understand the concept of the topic.

Currently I am a teacher of Mathematics for secondary education, and I am also teaching adults as part of their CPD. When I am teaching, I use creative and critical thinking techniques to help my students to acquire in-depth understanding of fundamental concepts of mathematics. Part of my teaching consists of games, quizzes and other creative and fun activities that aim to make teaching and learning easier and more enjoyable. It is also important for me to help my students to learn how to solve word problems, which is a skill that students find hard to acquire. I enjoy walking, travelling, reading, sports and music. Lately I became fascinated with Space exploration and the possibilities that it creates for the development of new technology and how it helps improve living conditions on Earth. I am also interested in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning and how these are based on mathematical thought. I have a degree in Pure Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Greece, an MA in Mathematics Education from Leeds University in the UK and a PGCE in Mathematics from the UK. I have a Qualified Teacher Status to work in UK schools and I have 22 years of work experience in the UK, Greece and Cyprus.

Hi, I’m Aisha, a dedicated tutor with experience supporting learners in Maths, English, and Science from KS1 to KS4, including SEN students. I’m currently studying for a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Physics, and I love helping students build confidence and achieve their goals. I teach : - Maths (KS1–KS4, GCSE Higher level and Lower level) - English (KS1–KS2 and 11+) - Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics KS1–KS4, GCSE) I use clear, step-by-step explanations and adapt my approach to each student’s needs. I focus on building understanding through everyday language, practical examples, and scaffolded resources. My goal is to make learning accessible and enjoyable for everyone. I have been a tutor for 2 years, specialising in Maths and English, but I am comfortable teaching a range of subjects. I am in my second year of university studying Law, which has given me many skills such as attention to detail and a strong work ethic. I transfer these qualities to tutoring, and my priority is helping students excel in their studies by providing effective and engaging lessons that tailor to each child's needs. I completed my GCSEs in The Abbey School and my A levels in Kendrick School, achieving results of a high standard that I was proud of. I am now studying Law in university, which has been a passion of mine for many years.
