I am Amber, a Bilingual Spanish Finance Analyst based in the UK, having studied abroad in Valencia. I also travel around South America and Spain as much as I can! Outside of my professional life, I love to travel and immerse myself in new cultures as well as watching Spanish series and listening to Spanish podcasts. I am currently a university student studying BA International Relations at SOAS, university of London. I grew my passion for teaching through helping my friends and classmates with revision and I enjoy explaining ideas by linking it to reality, making it relatable. I am patient, friendly, and aim to create a supportive and comfortable environment where students feel confident to ask questions, develop their understanding, and build confidence in their learning. I am currently attending SOAS, University of London, and studying BA International Relations. My modules focus on politics and history, specifically from a postcolonial perspective. My specialities are in humanities and essay-based subjects, with a particular focus on structuring arguments, critical thinking, and clear written communication.

I am passionate about teaching Maths because I enjoy helping students see that Maths is not something that is impossible but with help even the most complex topics can be broken down simply. It is especially nice when students come back to you with better results more confidence and a big smile. I can teach Mathematics for A-Levels and below. Big fan of football, cricket (which I play competitively for a club in the Surrey Leagues), video games and recently F1 I would like to preferably tutor students in secondary school, however I am open for Primary school students as well.
