About Me Hello! My name is Mary Ann Suizo, and I am a dedicated and passionate educator with a love for fostering growth and curiosity in students. I have always believed in the transformative power of education, and my goal is to create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student feels empowered to succeed. With experience in Mathematics areas such as General Mathematics and Statistics and Probability, also in Science for General Physics 1 and 2, I aim to inspire a love of learning and develop critical thinking skills that students can carry with them throughout their lives. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing Lawn Tennis as my sports and Reading and Studying nonfiction books especially an inspirational and motivational true to life journey which help me stay balanced and bring fresh perspectives to my teaching. Education I hold a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a Post-Baccalaureate in Teacher Education with a major in Mathematics. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Education, also with a major in Mathematics which provided me with a solid foundation in both pedagogical theory and subject-specific knowledge. I am a dedicated and passionate maths tutor who has experience for over 4 years in tutoring for SATS, GCSE and A-level students. I have an effective way of explaining key concepts clearly to student’s in an engaging and collaborative manner. My patience and experience allow me to adapt easily to the student’s needs. I tailor each lesson to the student’s specific needs who often have varying learning paces and styles. I am supportive, students are encouraged to ask questions, not only during lessons but throughout the week. I've secured A* in Economics and Psychology, and an A in Maths at A-levels. Additionally, I attained all 7,8,9s in my GCSEs, showcasing excellence in subjects like Maths and Business Studies.
