I am a Computer Science tutor with a passion for helping students understand complex concepts in programming, algorithms, and problem-solving. With a strong background in coding and technology, I enjoy breaking down challenging topics into simpler, more digestible explanations. I also work on personal projects, including building Discord bots, web applications and electronics. My goal is to inspire students to develop a deep understanding of Computer Science and gain confidence in their skills. I completed my A-Levels in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Music Technology while also serving as deputy head student. I am now pursuing a degree in Computer Science at university, where I continue to develop my expertise in programming, artificial intelligence, and software development.

I am a medical student with A*AA at A-level, including an A* in Biology, and top GCSEs (all 9s in triple sciences, Geography, English Language, and RS). With 2 years of tutoring experience, I combine strong subject knowledge with a supportive approach, helping students not only achieve excellent results but also enjoy the learning process and grow in confidence. I attended Townley Grammar School and its Sixth Form, achieving 9999998877 at GCSE, with grade 9s in all Triple Sciences, English Language, Religious Studies, and Geography. At A-level I achieved A*AA in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology, with an A* in Biology, and I am now studying Medicine at university. Alongside my studies, I have over 2 years’ experience tutoring GCSE English and Maths and mentoring students in Triple Science, supporting them as they prepared for exams. I also led my school’s Science Club, helping to inspire younger students and make science engaging beyond the classroom. In addition, I achieved a Bronze award in the British Biology Olympiad, reflecting both my academic ability and enthusiasm for learning. Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. I achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. I also gained an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for over a year. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style. If you are unsure of this throughout my school career, I have learnt different methods that work for me and would love to pass them on to others so that we can find a technique that works for you. I attended Rugby School, where I completed my GCSEs and A levels, and now I have gone on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University, where my ambition is to become an ACA Chartered Accountant. Having studied Chemistry, Economics and Maths at A level, I offer tutoring for students up to and including year 11 in Maths and Chemistry and then Economics up to and including year 13 students.

Hi, I’m Jeane! I’m a passionate English teacher who loves helping students connect with literature and language in fun and creative ways. I strive to make learning exciting with lively discussions, role-playing, and fun activities, all while sparking curiosity and building confidence in my students. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me watching movies on Netflix and making sure I hit my 10,000 steps every day, which keeps me energized and motivated throughout the day. I am a Physical Therapy graduate and have completed a Teaching & Demo course with New York Universities as an international student. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in teaching strategies, language, and literature. Through my studies, I developed the ability to design well-structured lessons that cater to individual students’ needs. After finishing my TEFL course and got certified, I gained experience in creating engaging activities and incorporating real-world examples to enhance student comprehension and make an interactive, enjoyable learning experience.
