Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.

I am passionate about helping students reach their academic goals by making learning clear, structured, and enjoyable. I believe every student has the ability to excel when given the right guidance and support. With strong skills in organisation, communication, and critical analysis, I ensure that lessons are not only effective but also build lasting confidence. My approach combines professionalism with approachability, allowing students to feel comfortable while being challenged to achieve their best. I am currently a student at the university of Dundee. I have increased my knowledge through experiences with top law firms to supporting patients in healthcare areas which has allowed me to strengthen my communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain things clearly. I’ve also helped several students improve their understanding of subjects and grow in confidence with their learning. As a tutor, I take a supportive and adaptable approach as my degree encourages me to understand that every student learns differently so I tailor lessons to suit individual needs. My aim is to make learning both effective and enjoyable, helping students achieve results while building lasting skills they can carry forward.

All the resources I use are made by myself for each students particular needs and I always aim for students to achieve top grades. I am available to tutor all the subjects in my profile to GCSE level I also tutor Geography HL, English Literature SL and Mathematics A&I SL at IB level I completed 11 different GCSE subjects in the year 2020 and moved on to complete the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in my time at 6th form (the IB is an equivalent of A-Levels but with 6 subjects instead of 3). Hi. I am a 24 year old recent graduate with a first class master's degree in Mathematics from Durham University. I specialise in tutoring A Level and GCSE Maths, and have experience working alongside children with a range of educational needs (including those with dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, and autism) both in person and here online. Outside of tutoring I enjoy board games, motorsport, and playing the guitar. I have a first class master's degree in mathematics from Durham University, specialising in pure mathematics and mathematical modelling. I studied Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, and Biology at A Level where I achieved 3 A*s and an A. I achieved 4 A*s, 6 As and 1 B at GCSE Level.
