I now attend the University of Cambridge to study English Literature. I love both English and Maths, and studied both at A Level. In English, I enjoy reading into a text and finding deeper meanings to better understand the writer’s intentions and message. In Maths, I enjoy working through difficult questions, and using my problem solving skills to reach the answer. My hobbies include reading and writing, ice skating, and anything creative. I have worked with young people previously, volunteering as a Young Leader and, more recently, a Unit Helper in Girlguiding. I was also a reading ‘Super-tutor’ in my school’s reading programme, designed to help Year 7 students boost their confidence and skill in reading, meaning I would step in to cover for any tutors who were absent when they planned to meet with their assigned tutee, and I oversaw the running of the programme as a whole. Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs. I have been tutoring online since April 2018, predominantly helping overseas students learn English as a foreign language. Curriculum has ranged from Oxford Reading Tree to Reach, using a variety of subjects to help their learning process. Having been diagnosed with severe dyslexia when I was young, I have always had an affinity with those who struggle with education, and have had to develop my own way to learn efficiently, and use this experience to help others. Hey, my name is Busayo and I am currently an undergraduate student studying BSc Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management at Loughborough University. I love staying active by being in the gym and making good food! Here to create an inclusive environment for every child and make learning that little bit more fun. I attended Hodge Hill Girls School and finished in 2018 with 11 GCSEs all over grade 5 including a Level 2 Distinction* qualification in Hospitality and Catering, Math grade 8, English Literature and Language grade 6-6 , and combined Science grade 7-7. I then attended sixth form at University of Birmingham school where I studied A-Level Math, Chemistry and Geography. I attained Grade BBC (Math - B, Geography - B, Chemistry - C). I am now currently at Loughborough University studying BSc Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying.
