I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in Mathematics, and I am also TEFL certified. In my spare time, I enjoy singing (I'm currently taking a music theory class and hope to progress to one day play the cello) and dancing. These help me unwind and also have fun! I have a solid educational background, which has provided me with valuable insights and knowledge. Alongside my academic achievements, I’m also dedicated to fitness and regularly attend the gym to maintain both my physical and mental well-being.
