Hello! I’m Alice Bennett, a licensed English teacher with 14 years of experience helping students grow into confident communicators. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English, and I’ve completed the academic requirements for a Master of Arts in English Language Education. Currently, I teach Grades 7 to 10, guiding learners through some of the most formative and exciting years of their academic journey. Over the years, I’ve supported students preparing for college entrance exams as well as international assessments like IELTS and TOEFL. Working with learners from diverse backgrounds has taught me that every student has a unique story — and I take pride in finding strategies that help each one succeed in their own way. Teaching, for me, is more than a profession — it’s a passion. I love sparking curiosity, nurturing growth, and witnessing those unforgettable “aha!” moments when students discover what they’re truly capable of. In my classes, I make learning interactive and meaningful by incorporating multimedia resources such as songs, short videos, and infographics. I break complex skills into manageable steps, gradually building students’ confidence and independence. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading and traveling. These experiences give me fresh perspectives and real-world insights that I bring back into my lessons, making them more relevant and engaging. To further deepen my expertise, I completed the academic requirements for a Master of Arts in English Language Education. My graduate studies strengthened my understanding of language acquisition theories, research-based instructional strategies, academic writing instruction, and assessment design. This advanced training has allowed me to approach teaching with both practical experience and scholarly insight. I have been teaching and tutoring for 14 years, working with students across various age groups and proficiency levels. Currently, I teach English to Grades 7 to 10, guiding students through critical stages of their academic and personal development. The medical condition resulted in their inability to remember or write. Some experience of teaching students with bipolar disorder. - Preferred student age group GCSE and A Levels I have majored in Accounting and Finance. I have 10+ years of teaching experience at school level, academies and online classes. To help my students out with their queries and bringing them out of grey zones is my utmost priority. My hobbies include working out, football and research. I believe that physical activity is very important for our mental health and it also helps us in making better decisions. On the other hand, I am constantly trying to research new studies and theories as learning is not restricted to a certain age group rather it is for all of us until we can still breathe. Religion, Theology, Philosophy, Ethics and Film is my absolute passion and specialty! I have both an Undergraduate and a Masters Degree in the subject. I also have a PGCE and QTS with experience teaching primary school children and working one-to-one with SEN children. I hold my Level 2 in SEND. I attended York St John for both my Undergraduate and my Masters Degree in Religious Studies. In between, I gained a PGCE from Leeds Trinity and a QTS through my SCITT. I currently work in a Sixth Form College and support the A Level Philosophy, Religion and Ethics revision sessions and classes.

Aerospace Engineer and MEng Aerospace engineering graduate at the University of Manchester. Combined 2000hrs+ experience of in tutoring with a track record. I love to teach people, super friendly and always try to make lessons easy to follow whilst working through problems! I can also offer help on personal statements, coding in MatLab/Python as well as Math/Physics Olympiad challenges. MEng Aerospace engineering student at the University of Manchester. Completed A-Levels in Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Further Mathematics with A*'s and A's.
