I am a first-year student at the University of Liverpool studying International Relations. I went to school in Birmingham and studied History, English Literature and Economics A-level. I have a strong interest in the humanities, especially politics. I went to a Grammar school for my secondary and sixth form education so I have specific knowledge of the 11+ exam. I’m a dedicated 5th-year medical student with a passion for learning and growth. Beyond my studies, I find joy in playing badminton and dancing, which keep me energized and balanced. Since 2018, I’ve been tutoring students across various levels, sharing my knowledge and helping them achieve their academic goals. With years of experience and a knack for connecting with others, I thrive on making learning engaging and impactful. I have a strong academic foundation that has shaped my journey as a medical student and tutor. Over the past 3 years, I’ve helped more than 130 students achieve at least a grade 7 in their GCSEs. About Me Language is not just a tool for communication, it's rather a reflection of how we see ourselves, our world and culture. I am a PhD candidate who recently published a paper on sexism and gender bias to help promote social justice by teaching politically correct language. In light of my educational research I learned that each student has a unique mind and uses different techniques to learn. Hence, my responsibility entails guiding each individual to unlock their complete potential. In my free time you'll always find me in the gym, or on a football pitch.
