I have gained valuable tutoring experience in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry by working with students across a range of ages, abilities, and UK exam boards. I have supported students who are studying GCSEs (as well as the Scottish equivalents) under AQA, Edexcel (Pearson), OCR and other boards, so I understand that each board has its own style of questions, emphasis, and mark schemes. I have worked with students who have learning difficulties, those who need extra support as well as those aiming for top grades. Above all, I try to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My aim is not just to improve results, but to help students feel more confident, capable, and prepared for their exams. Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, graduating with First Class Honours in 2024. I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year.
