Hi! I’m Almar, a dedicated educator passionate about teaching English and Science I believe learning should be engaging, meaningful, and tailored to each student’s needs. In English, I help students build strong communication skills with creative and practical activities. In Science, I simplify complex concepts to make them exciting and easy to understand. My goal is to nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning in a supportive and encouraging environment. I graduated from Holy Cross of Davao College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, major in English. I have over 8 years of teaching experience, working with both children and adults in classroom and online settings. My experience includes junior high school teaching, face-to-face classes, and working with various ESL companies. I have been a tutor for 2 years, specialising in Maths and English, but I am comfortable teaching a range of subjects. I am in my second year of university studying Law, which has given me many skills such as attention to detail and a strong work ethic. I transfer these qualities to tutoring, and my priority is helping students excel in their studies by providing effective and engaging lessons that tailor to each child's needs. I completed my GCSEs in The Abbey School and my A levels in Kendrick School, achieving results of a high standard that I was proud of. I am now studying Law in university, which has been a passion of mine for many years.
