Over the past several years, I have taught students from a wide range of backgrounds, ages, and ability levels, both in the UK and internationally. My experience spans one-to-one tutoring, small-group teaching, online learning, curriculum design, and academic mentoring. I have worked extensively as an English tutor, supporting students with reading comprehension, analytical writing, essay structure, grammar, and exam technique. My students have included primary school pupils building core literacy skills, secondary school students preparing for GCSEs and A Levels, and university applicants seeking support with personal statements, interviews, and academic writing. I have also worked with students applying to selective schools and sixth-form programmes, providing tailored support with entrance examinations, interview preparation, and academic enrichment. Alongside teaching, I have managed the administrative side of educational programmes, coordinating schedules, tracking student progress, communicating with parents, and creating personalised learning plans. This experience has given me a broad understanding of the educational journey from both the student's and family's perspective, allowing me to provide organised, goal-oriented support. My teaching has also taken me beyond the UK. While working remotely and from educational hubs in Mexico, I taught students across different time zones and cultural backgrounds, developing the flexibility and communication skills needed to work effectively with international learners. This experience strengthened my ability to build rapport quickly and adapt lessons to diverse educational contexts. What I enjoy most about education is helping students discover confidence in their own abilities. While academic results are important, I believe the most meaningful progress comes when students learn how to think independently, communicate clearly, and approach challenges with curiosity rather than fear. My goal is always to create a supportive, engaging environment where students feel empowered to achieve their potential.

I am a third-year undergraduate student studying Psychology and Sociology, with a genuine passion for supporting young people in reaching their potential. I have hands-on tutoring experience across Psychology, Maths, Biology, and English, working with children who required additional socioeconomic and special educational support. Alongside this, I work as a Residential Support Worker with children with special needs, giving me a strong understanding of diverse learning needs and how to adapt my approach accordingly. I completed the IB Diploma with Higher Level subjects in Psychology, Politics, and English, and hold a full suite of GCSEs, providing me with a solid academic foundation across a wide range of subjects. Within my university, I serve as User Experience Officer at the Undergraduate Psychology Association, reflecting my commitment to student welfare and development. I am a native English and Swedish speaker, patient, empathetic, and dedicated to making learning accessible and enjoyable for every student. Outside of academics, I play netball, piano and love reading classic and historical fiction, which keeps me curious and engaged; qualities I bring into every tutoring session. I completed 10 GCSEs, achieving all A's and 9's, at Dulwich International School Singapore in 2022. I went on to complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma in 2024, finishing with a score of 36. My Higher Level subjects were Psychology, Global Politics, and English Language and Literature, in which I achieved 6's across the board, alongside a 6 in SL Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches, and 5's in SL Spanish and SL Biology. I am currently in my second year of a Master of Arts (BSc) in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Edinburgh, where I am due to graduate in 2028. Alongside my studies, I serve as User Experience Officer for the Undergraduate Psychology Association, where I work to improve the student experience within the department. In addition to my formal degree, I have pursued a number of enriching academic opportunities. In 2023, I completed a one-week Psychology Summer Course at King's College London, where I studied and debated topics including the DSM-V, Terror Management Theory and the Mortality Salience Hypothesis, Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, and Need-to-Belong Theory. That same year, I completed a Mental Health Warrior Awareness Training Course, a one-day programme focused on building awareness of the daily challenges associated with mental health disorders, including those that are often invisible or overlooked. In 2024, I also attended the INSEAD Business Summer School, broadening my understanding of leadership, strategy, and the intersection of business and human behaviour.

A BEng Mechanical Engineering student from The University of Dundee who has taken A-level examinations before. I prefer mastery of concepts with the ability to employ knowledge to solve problems. I have experience with real-world engineering projects, as I am running an IMechE-affiliated aeronautical society where we develop autonomous drones for the UAS challenge. I have self-studied my A-levels, which comprise AS and A2-level Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. As a result of this solo endeavor, I have become very familiar with discipline and time management. It has helped me develop a growth mindset. I'm currently in my 2nd year. I have received straight A's during my first year transcript and am projected to maintain that grade. I employ this knowledge and critical thinking extensively for my real-world engineering projects, which aim to develop UAV's to be competitive at the national level.
