Hello! My name is Hanfa, I'm an undergraduate student in mechanical engineering at the University of Manchester. I enjoy anything practical and in reference to logic and problem solving, and for that reason, maths and physics have always been my subjects! I enjoy anything that requires precision, more specifically knitting, henna, and drawing. You soon learn Biology also requires imagination as well as English, it's necessary to envision processes well in order to write an account on them, and my talent in imaginative writing is indeed a helping hand! And always remember: Take pride in tuition, as you'd take pride in success I studied at an all girls Grammar school for 5 years where I completed my GCSEs. I next excelled on to Loreto College, where I took Biology Maths and Physics for A-levels, I am now studying Mechanical Engineering at the prestige University of Manchester!

Since joining GoStudent back in April 2023, I’ve had the incredible privilege of tutoring for over two years — and what a journey it has been! In that time, I’ve not only grown as a teacher but also as a communicator, motivator, and lifelong learner. My lessons are anything but “one-size-fits-all.” Every session is designed to spark curiosity, encourage outside-the-box thinking, and make learning genuinely enjoyable. I love giving students (and their families) the chance to shape the direction of our lessons — because when learning feels personal, progress happens naturally. For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is watching students go from “I can’t” to “I can.” Whether it’s tackling tricky topics, preparing for exams, or simply rediscovering a love for learning, I’m here to celebrate every step forward and keep that momentum going. I studied at the UCL School of Pharmacy, where I am currently preparing to sit my final MPharm exams following a recent gap period. In October 2022, I proudly graduated with a First-Class MSci in Pharmaceutical Studies, a course that challenged me academically while also sparking my curiosity for problem-solving and research. Beyond the textbooks, I’ve always believed that learning should be creative and enjoyable. That’s why you’ll often find me making colourful, artsy study notes (which are slowly turning into a revision blog!), or bringing a creative twist into my lessons to help tricky concepts click. My education hasn’t just been about exams and grades — it’s also taught me how to stay curious, resilient, and open-minded, and I try to pass that on to every student I work with.

Hi there! I'm Emily and I'm from the UK. Lessons with me as your tutor will be interactive and dynamic. Whichever the subject is, I will be ensuring that I cater the content of my lessons to your individual needs. During the lessons, we will be utilising a variety of learning techniques, such as discussions, quizzes and PowerPoint lectures. Alongside my academic studies, I have always worked hard to support myself. These roles have predominantly been working with children in the psychological field but also online tutoring. I have 4 years of experience teaching English online as a Foreign Language and 1.5 years of experience online tutoring in psychology and sociology. I enjoy helping people. I want to become a consummate professional in this field. I am a reliable, dedicated and hard-working individual. This is proven by my academic history, which includes eleven GCSEs, three A-Levels, a degree in Psychology at the undergraduate level and a master's degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology.
