I’m a 19-year-old recent sixth form graduate (2025) who studied A-level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. I’m passionate about teaching and helping students build confidence in their learning. I currently study Medicine abroad and enjoy supporting others to reach their academic goals. I completed my A-levels in 2025, studying Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, and was fortunate to gain a place to study Medicine, which I am currently pursuing abroad. At GCSE, I studied Triple Science, Classics, DT, Geography and Spanish. I really enjoy education and look forward to helping others achieve success in their studies.

Hi, I’m Jan Lloyd Francisco, and teaching Mathematics has always been more than just a profession for me — it’s a platform to inspire confidence and critical thinking. From the very beginning, I’ve believed that math isn’t something to fear, but something to explore. As a math teacher, I bring energy, creativity, and real-world relevance into every lesson. I love turning abstract concepts into meaningful experiences through interactive activities, collaborative problem-solving, and practical applications that students can connect with. My goal is simple: help students realize that they are capable of understanding and even enjoying mathematics. Beyond the classroom, I stay grounded and inspired through music and sports. These passions keep me disciplined, focused, and mentally sharp — qualities I also bring into my teaching practice. I graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematical theory, pedagogy, and effective classroom management. My training equipped me with the ability to design engaging lessons, adapt to diverse learning styles, and foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. I have also completed the academic requirements for the Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics, further strengthening my expertise in advanced mathematical concepts, research, and instructional strategies. This graduate-level training has deepened my commitment to evidence-based teaching and continuous professional growth. Over the past four years in a formal classroom setting, I have handled diverse groups of learners, designed structured lesson plans, facilitated interactive discussions, and implemented assessments that promote critical thinking. In addition, I have been tutoring students for nearly five years, providing personalized academic support, simplifying complex concepts, and helping learners build both competence and confidence in Mathematics.

I’m currently in my first year of Biomedical Science. I have a strong passion for the sciences, with an interest of sharing scientific knowledge with my peers and students. I have done my A levels Maths, Biology and Chemistry in the UK but I have a multicultural background as I moved from Italy. I used to spent my Saturday mornings teaching primary schoolers in Italy with additional learning needs. This choice was rooted by the fact that my own brothers have additional learning needs so that experience, combined with being multilingual (I can fluently speak in Hindi, Punjabi, and Italian), has shaped how I approach learning with patience making sure nobody is eft behind. I want to become a tutor because it gives me satisfaction when I see students achieving their goals and see their self-confidence soar! I don't just want to teach subjects but I want to be a supportive part of their journey, helping them realize that no academic challenge is too big to overcome. I achieved my GCSEs (Maths, Physics, Combined Science, Philosophy, Latin, Italian Language and Literature, English, History, Social Sciences and PE) in Italy. After that I moved to the UK where I completed my GCSE in English language and Maths and an ESOL course at Tresham College in Corby. I continued my studies following my passion for the scientific subjects. I studied A level Maths, Chemistry and Biology, at the Corby Sixth Form, achieving a grade B in all three of my subjects. Currently I'm in my first year of Biomedical Science at the University of East Anglia. Additionally I also have completed an online course on careers available in the NHS and volunteered at my local hospital so I can provide mentorship for students interested in studying STEM degree and gain access in an health related career.

I graduated with a degree in Juris Doctor, or Doctorate of Law, a program that not only honed my legal expertise but also provided a broad and strong foundation in various disciplines such as teaching methods, linguistics, literature, politics, and Philippine history. Through my studies, I gained an understanding of the intersection between law and society, which enhanced my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. In addition to the legal coursework, I learned essential pedagogical skills that have proven invaluable in various teaching environments. I focused on designing lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring that all students, regardless of background, feel supported and encouraged in their learning journey.
