I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree. My strong academic background in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Geography enables me to offer well-rounded and insightful tutoring.

Hi there! I’m Zuzanna, and I’m excited to be your tutor. I hold a degree in Microbiology and a Master’s in Immunology and Infectious Disease, and I currently work in a microbiology laboratory. I’m passionate about education, science, languages, and travel, and I bring that excitement and curiosity straight into my lessons. My lessons are structured, interactive and firmly exam-focused, but never dry! I combine clear, engaging explanations with active recall, targeted past-paper practice and detailed mark scheme analysis so students understand exactly how to maximise marks. Challenging topics are broken down into simple, logical steps, using diagrams, quick quizzes and real-world examples to make learning memorable. At the same time, we refine exam technique, key terminology and answer structure to ensure strong performance under pressure. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology (2023) and an MSc in Infection and Immunity (2025) from the University of Liverpool. My MSc research focused on bacterial pathogenesis and host-pathogen interactions, while my BSc dissertation explored Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilm adaptation, providing a strong foundation in practical science, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. Throughout my degrees, I worked as a career coach, developing skills in mentoring, communication, and confidence-building online and in-person, which I now apply directly in my tutoring. I attended Greenhead College (Huddersfield, UK, 2018–2020), completing A-Levels in Biology (A), Chemistry (C), and Geography (A). During this time, I began tutoring students in A-Level Biology, helping them strengthen their understanding and improve exam technique. I also support family and friends in GCSE Sciences and Maths (AQA and OCR), both in person and online, tailoring lessons to individual needs. My specialisations are science, particularly Biology, which I teach at GCSE and A-Level, and I am also competent in Chemistry and English. I have experience in practical lab skills, exam-focused tutoring, and supporting students with ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia. I am currently completing a TEFL certificate to further strengthen my teaching practice in English. I have also mentored a Level 3 Laboratory Technician at BioGrad, delivering weekly guidance and coordinating with tutors, and led A-Level Science practical endorsement sessions, supervising small student groups. These roles strengthened my lesson planning, explanation of complex topics, and constructive feedback skills, all directly transferable to tutoring. I am confident these experiences equip me to help students achieve stronger grades, steady progress, and confidence in learning.

I am a 3rd year medical student with a passion for teaching, tutoring and helping students get the highest grades they possibly can. I have been teaching for over 5 years working with a wide background of students from 11+ and GCSE students to SEN students. I study Medicine at Aston university and was a former student at the Latymer Grammar School in Edmonton. In my GCSEs I got 9s in Maths, English lang and lit, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and I also got 3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths for my A levels

I successfully completed my A Levels with excellent grades, particularly in science subjects, which sparked my interest in healthcare. I am currently a first-year dental student, pursuing my studies with a strong foundation in academic excellence and a passion for oral health and patient care.
