Hi! I'm Michael, I am a second year medical student and a Biomedical Sciences graduate. I have previously tutored for Year 1-11. I provide person-centered support in Maths and Sciences focusing on boosting confidence and academic results. Beyond traditional tutoring, my background is a Medical Exam Assistant at Brighton and Sussex Medical School University of Sussex (Sep 2020 – Jul 2023): I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. This degree provided me with an in-depth understanding of biological systems and medical research, which I now apply when tutoring complex scientific concepts Harris Academy Battersea (Sep 2018 – Aug 2020): I completed my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics, A-Level and GCSE. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively. My name is Shandana Wahid. I am 18 years old and study Politics, International Studies and German at the University of Warwick. I am an experienced tutor with over 1.5 years of teaching experience in economics and politics. I have 10 GCSES, from grades 8-6, including maths, business and triple science. My experience at a grammar school enables me to use interactive, effective teaching methods to help my students improve their grades. Hi, I'm Raiyaan — a Medical student at UCL and a former pupil of St Paul's School, Barnes. I tutor GCSE Maths and the Sciences, and I genuinely love helping students have that "it finally makes sense!" moment. My approach is patient, friendly and completely non-judgemental: I start by understanding where a student is stuck, then break tricky topics into simple, manageable steps until they click. I care just as much about building confidence as improving grades — because once a student believes they can do it, everything gets easier. I adapt to how each young person learns best, and I'm comfortable supporting those who find learning more challenging, including students with dyslexia. Because I sat these exams recently, I know the current specifications, exam techniques and common pitfalls inside out. I've also volunteered with elderly and vulnerable people in a care home, which taught me the patience and clear communication that make a genuine difference in one-to-one teaching.
