Hi, I’m a Psychology undergraduate with A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals through clear, supportive, and engaging lessons. I offer tutoring for A-Level Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as GCSE Combined Science, Biology and Chemistry. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students face and can explain difficult concepts in a simple and relatable way. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are aiming to improve their understanding, boost their grades, or prepare for exams. I focus on creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace. I am currently studying BSc Psychology at Aston university and have completed A-Levels in Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry. My studies have equipped me with strong analytical, research, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of scientific and psychological concepts. At GCSE, I achieved strong grades across a range of subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Language, English Literature, and Mathematics. This broad academic background allows me to support students across both science and essay-based subjects. I offer tutoring in A-Level Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as GCSE Biology, Chemistry, and Combined Science. Having completed these qualifications relatively recently, I am familiar with the curriculum, exam requirements, and effective revision techniques needed for success. Currently I am a teacher of Mathematics for secondary education, and I am also teaching adults as part of their CPD. When I am teaching, I use creative and critical thinking techniques to help my students to acquire in-depth understanding of fundamental concepts of mathematics. It is also important for me to help my students to learn how to solve word problems, which is a skill that students find hard to acquire. I enjoy walking, travelling, reading, sports and music. Lately I became fascinated with Space exploration and the possibilities that it creates for the development of new technology and how it helps improve living conditions on Earth. I am also interested in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning and how these are based on mathematical thought. I have a degree in Pure Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Greece, an MA in Mathematics Education from Leeds University in the UK and a PGCE in Mathematics from the UK. I have a Qualified Teacher Status to work in UK schools and I have 22 years of work experience in the UK, Greece and Cyprus.
