Hey there my names Ben! I'm passionate about maths and science who loves to help those tricky concepts click for students. With my background in maths, physics and chemistry, plus years of helping students in their studied, I've discovered that learning happens best when it's engaging and applied to the real world. I specialise in tutoring maths, chemistry (physical, inorganic and organic), and physics (focus on classical and quantum mechanics) up to A-level equivalent standards. People say I have a knack for explaining complex ideas simply, and I take pride in watching people's confidence grow alongside grades. I tailor my approach for each individual student because everyone learns differently, and I'm all about building understanding rather than memorization. I did my undergraduate degree at University College London, I achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Natural Sciencies, specialising in Physical Chemistry, Maths and Statistics. After a few months research in academia (Machine Learning Materials Science Research) and 2 years working in industry as a Data Scientist I have returned to education to undertake an MPhil in Scientific Computing at the University of Cambridge. I am hopeful to achieve a Distinction in this course and apply my skills and knowledge in the computational drug discovery/medical fields.

I’m a dedicated mathematics educator with a strong background in engineering and extensive experience in teaching advanced-level mathematics. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering degree, I have seamlessly blended my technical expertise with a passion for teaching. I teach SAT math, IBDP math, AP calculus, GCSE, IGCSE math, HL and SL, Edexcel math, KS3, KS2, Algebra 1&2, Calculus 1&2, Trigonometry, Vedic math. I have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering which I completed in 2018. During my Engineering I got exposure to Mathematics and Science. I also have keen interest in technical which I often use during my teaching. This helps me to explain the concept in an easy to understand way.
