Hi, I'm Raiyaan — a Medical student at UCL and a former pupil of St Paul's School, Barnes. I tutor GCSE Maths and the Sciences, and I genuinely love helping students have that "it finally makes sense!" moment. My approach is patient, friendly and completely non-judgemental: I start by understanding where a student is stuck, then break tricky topics into simple, manageable steps until they click. I care just as much about building confidence as improving grades — because once a student believes they can do it, everything gets easier. I adapt to how each young person learns best, and I'm comfortable supporting those who find learning more challenging, including students with dyslexia. Reliable, encouraging and enhanced-DBS checked, I want every session to leave your child feeling that little bit more capable. I'm currently studying Medicine at UCL, having recently completed my A-Levels at St Paul's School, Barnes, where I achieved AAA in Maths, Chemistry and Biology, plus top grades (7–9) across all my GCSEs — including a 9 in Maths and 8s in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, the very subjects I teach. Because I sat these exams recently, I know the current specifications, exam techniques and common pitfalls inside out. Alongside my studies, I've spent the past two years tutoring GCSE Maths and Science, helping students make real, measurable progress and grow in confidence. I've also volunteered with elderly and vulnerable people in a care home, which taught me the patience and clear communication that make a genuine difference in one-to-one teaching. My aim is simple: to help your child understand the material, feel confident in the exam, and achieve the best grades they can.

I’m currently a medical student and I really like passing my knowledge to young people and helping them achieve the goals that they want. I aspire to create a safe, friendly environment for students, where they can ask me for help whenever. With a deep passion for education, I strive to instil not only knowledge but also critical thinking skills and confidence in my students. I attended Southend High School for Girls and completed my GCSEs there. For A levels,I moved to Southend High School for Boys. Currently i am a medical student at the University of Nottingham. I have about a year of tutoring experience from beforehand, and i have worked at ExploreLearning for a few months.

I hold a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong foundation in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. With experience in tutoring both school and university students, I focus on strengthening conceptual understanding and exam techniques. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style to help them excel confidently. I have pursued my education entirely within the British curriculum, starting with my GCE O Levels and A Levels. I completed my O Levels with a strong focus on science subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, followed by A Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics. These qualifications have provided me with a solid foundation in analytical thinking and scientific problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Throughout my academic journey, Physics has remained a core subject, both in theoretical and applied forms, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and control systems. In addition to my formal education, I have gained tutoring experience in Physics, focusing on helping students understand fundamental concepts, improve problem-solving techniques, and prepare effectively for exams. My specializations include classical mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and applied physics in engineering contexts. I am passionate about breaking down complex topics into digestible lessons and supporting students in building both competence and confidence in Physics.

Hi! I'm Lisa. I enjoy helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the material, rather than simply memorising content for exams. I believe that understanding the fundamentals is the key to long-term success, so I focus on explaining concepts clearly and encouraging students to ask questions. My goal is not only to help students achieve their target grades but also to develop the problem-solving skills and knowledge that will benefit them in further study and university. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the guitar and listening to music, particularly Chinese artists such as Jay Chou. I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning and making mistakes. I graduated from St Paul’s Girls’ School for sixth form and achieved 4 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I am an upcoming second year Mechanical Engineering student studying at Imperial College London. I have add around three years tutoring 1v1 and 1v2 experiences in KS3 sciences and GCSE maths.
