I have achieved a First Class (85%) in my Master's Degree in Mathematics at the University of Bath. I would love to tutor younger students and also adult learners and help them improve their mathematical skills. I am a keen problem solver, having taken part in the UKMT maths challenges when I was at school and achieving a Gold Award in Year 13 before doing the British Maths Olympiad. At university, I took part in the Integration Bee challenges and tutored first year students at the Maths and Stats Help club. I achieved a First Class in my master's degree in mathematics from the University of Bath, and when I graduated I received an award which recognised me as one of the two top performing students in my cohort. My strengths lie in pure mathematics, particularly algebra, analysis, number theory and probability.

I attended Christopher Whitehead Language college for both high school and sixth form, for A levels I did Maths, Further Maths and Physics. In which I achieved A*AB respectively. Hello my name is Carla Edmunds, I am from South Africa, I am a 36 year old English, mathematics, Biology and Geography teacher. I am a qualified preschool teacher as well as a Pastry chef. I love to travel around the world teaching my subjects as well as travel for my leisure , however teaching is my passion, I love to learn from my students as well as making sure that my students enjoy and understand their lessons for the day.
