Hello! My name is Teo, I have been tutoring for over 3 years with GoStudent. Welcome to my profile. I teach 11+, GCSE Science (physics, chemistry, and biology), and Mathematics. I use notes and revision resources that have been carefully tailored to each student's specific needs. With their exam board content, revision/practice questions, and particularly repeated past papers, I have been able to instill confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine understanding of the subject in all of my students while ensuring they enjoy the process. I look forward to beginning this journey with you. I have over 4 years (1000+ hours) of experience teaching these subjects: GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Mathematics, and 11+. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering and an international teaching certificate (TESOL). I bring both academic expertise and practical teaching experience to my lessons. Having achieved top grades (A**) in GCSE Mathematics, Physics, and Biology, I understand the challenges students face and tailor my teaching to help them succeed. I create a friendly and interactive learning space where everyone feels comfortable. This helps build confidence and ensures that students really understand the important concepts they need to reach their academic goals.

I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Plymouth. From a young age I have always enjoyed helping others as it brings happiness and joy to me. This is also the main reason why I wanted to become a tutor. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, particularly football and cricket. I have 2 younger brothers, so I am always entertained. I love talking and spending time with them. For secondary school, I attended the Oxford Spires Academy where I completed my GCSEs. For 6th form, I was accepted by The Cherwell School, where I completed my A-levels. At GCSE level science I achieved a grade 8/8 and at A-levels I achieved grades A in both Biology and Chemistry. In my first year of UCAS application, I did not receive any offers to study Medicine at University. However, towards the end of summer I came across an opportunity to study medicine through an alternative route. The University of Plymouth were offering a one-year transfer from Biomed to Medicine providing one achieved 3 As at A-levels, maintained a 70% pass rate across all modules in 1st year and passed the interview for Medicine. In the previous year only 2/23 applicants were successful in this route. Although this was intense, I was able to successfully transfer from Biomed to Medicine after the 1st year. Hello! I'm Denise, a certified TESOL instructor with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. I specialize in teaching general English, with a particular focus on Business English. Currently, I am pursuing advanced studies to further enhance my skills and knowledge.
