About me

Experience

+9 months of exp. teaching at GoStudent

I have always been curious and love solving problems, which led me to study biochemistry at university before moving into software development. I enjoy challenges, whether it’s in science, coding, or everyday life, and I find it really rewarding to figure things out. During lockdown, I even taught myself how to solve a Rubik’s Cube, which was a fun way to test my patience and problem-solving skills. Beyond work, I love learning new things through reading and watching documentaries. Exploring different cultures is also something I’m really passionate about—I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing different ways of life. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I enjoy helping others grow and develop their own skills. With a curious mind and a love for challenges,...

Hello! I'm Zarnab Nassir, an educator who believes in the transformative power of knowledge. Teaching isn't just a profession for me; it's a passion that fuels my desire to inspire and guide students toward their full potential. With a deep commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, I tailor my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student. Whether it's simplifying complex concepts or encouraging critical thinking, I strive to make learning engaging and accessible. Beyond academics, I aim to instill confidence, curiosity, and a love for lifelong learning in my students. Let's embark on this educational journey together and unlock the doors to your success! I am a proud graduate of the prestigious Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), where I completed the BA-LL.B (Honours) program. This rigorous five-year, full-time degree combines a liberal arts education with professional legal training, accredited by the Pakistan Bar Council and the Higher Education Commission. The program's interdisciplinary approach enriched my understanding of law through courses in economics, political science, sociology, and more, fostering a critical and comparative perspective on legal systems. After completing my legal education, I ventured into the clothing business, where I successfully ran my own enterprise for five years. This experience honed my skills in business management, marketing, and customer relations, providing me with a practical understanding of the commercial world. It also deepened my appreciation for the intersection of law and business, particularly in areas like contract law and intellectual property rights. Simultaneously, I explored the social media influencer industry, establishing and successfully running my own blog. This endeavor allowed me to develop expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and audience engagement. It also provided insights into the legal aspects of online content, including copyright laws and digital ethics. Passion for Teaching Despite my diverse professional experiences, my true passion lies in teaching. I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and experiences with students, helping them navigate the complexities of law and business. Through online platforms, I offer personalized tutoring sessions, aiming to make learning engaging and accessible. My unique blend of legal education, entrepreneurial experience, and digital expertise enables me to provide a comprehensive and practical learning experience. I am committed to fostering a supportive and interactive learning environment, empowering students to achieve their academic and professional goals.

Hi. I'm Ade, and I have been tutoring successfully for over 7 years now, with over 100 students (over 3 years on GoStudent with over 40 students), Grades 7 to 12, GCSE, and A-Levels. I have a Bachelors degree in Geophysics, a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Education, and I'm currently doing a 2nd Degree in Mathematics. I keep my lessons simple, with a focus on consistent practice. I also tailor my lessons to fit the student and get the best out of them. Simply put, I help you understand the foundations of the concepts you're trying to learn, and we'll do lots of practice. I specialize in building students skill and confidence in facing and solving problems. I'm pretty good at it because I am always learning new things myself, so I never forget what it's like be a semi-beginner, and I tend to relate very well with my students experience. This helps me communicate very effectively and support them unconditionally, all the while holding them to high expectations (based on their ability). I am a learner, and I am very good at helping others learn. I look forward to hearing from you! I obtained my first degree in the physical sciences: a Bachelors degree in Geophysics. Afterwards, I obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) to hone my skills in helping others learn and achieve their academic goals. I am currently pursuing a 2nd degree in Mathematics.

Hi! My name is Layla, and I tutor Sciences, Maths, and English as a Foreign Language. I have experience helping students of different ages and backgrounds, whether it’s preparing for exams, strengthening core skills, or building confidence in English communication. My teaching style is friendly and adaptable—I break down difficult topics into simple steps, use real-life examples, and tailor lessons to each student’s learning style. I believe that learning should be enjoyable as well as effective, and I aim to create lessons where students feel supported and motivated. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, and playing sports, which help me bring creativity, curiosity, and energy into my lessons. I’m excited to help you achieve your goals and make learning a positive experience. I completed my A-levels at Hills Road Sixth Form College in Biology, Maths, Chemistry, and an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) dissertation, where I researched how sleep and stress intertwine and affect wellbeing. After finishing school, I spent my gap year in Istanbul, studying Arabic and Turkish, which gave me valuable cultural and language-learning experience. This year, I will be starting my degree in Mechanical Engineering at university, and I am excited to apply my strong foundation in maths and sciences to both my studies and my tutoring
