Hi! I am currently a 3rd year Chemical Engineering student at Imperial College London with a strong background in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics and I enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts by simplifying them in a clear and engaging way. My goal is to build confidence and make learning enjoyable. I am currently in my penultimate year of a Master’s in Chemical Engineering (MEng) at Imperial College London, on track for a First Class. I’ve excelled in key modules such as Engineering Mathematics and Reaction Engineering, and I’m a recipient of both the President’s Undergraduate Scholarship and the Faculty of Engineering UROP Bursary. Before university, I studied at Wilson’s School, where I achieved 4 A*s at A-Level in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and 8 grade 9s at GCSE. My academic journey reflects my strong foundation in STEM and passion for engineering.

My name is Dmitri Yendrzheyevskiy. Nice to meet you :) I am an upcoming third-year student studying economics with German. I studied French, German, Russian and English at A level. I love learning languages, speaking both Russian and English natively. Having grown up speaking Russian at home, I have always felt passionate for learning and improving languages; for example, I'm currently learning Chinese and am considering learning Italian and Japanese in the future :D Generally, my sessions depend on whom I am working with. For beginners of French and German, I begin by following the GCSE AQA textbook, where I help teach the skills necessary to learn more independently. The textbook begins with more general stuff like basic grammar, and then branches off into specific topics, such as talking about yourself. I encourage the student to talk as much German and French as possible, helping them to develop a native accent. To maintain and strengthen my languages, I personally dedicate time every day to honing my language skills through listening to films and books of the respective language. In Maths, if I am teaching someone who is a beginner, I will first try to get to know what works for the student, and then using games to encourage younger learners to learn specific parts of maths. For GCSE students, I will follow the specification, skipping over the parts which the student knows well. To determine their general knowledge, I will start by giving a basic test of each successive section, and spend more time on the sections the student does more poorly in. For GCSE and A level students for all of my subjects, I will work with the student in establishing areas of weakness in their GCSEs, and understand their general level and which level they are working at. I will show what examiners want, and how exactly to reach the higher bands to get the highest marks. I am always updating myself on the latest news from AQA to always be familiar with the exact exam structure. I am familiar with most of the A level texts for both French and German, and I am reading through the English A level and GCSE texts. For Russian, I will work through a textbook with the student. I will constantly provide support with pronunciation and determine based on their goals what they want to do; whether they want to learn how to read and write cursive, or simply read and send messages in text form (as the written and typed language looks different). I am very familiar with both GCSE and A level Russian, and know the texts and films. I set homework every week, and check back on it on the next lesson. Depending on the time of month, I am happy to let the student decide which areas they are weakest in, and then work with them on those areas, be those listening, or writing, or a specific part of GCSE that they don't understand. I am proactive in providing the best experience for all of my students, and I am passionate about the work that I do. I have tutored for over a year and the experience has benefitted me in many ways. I'd like to provide a positive experience for all of my students regardless of age. I am patient and understanding and will take the time to help all of my students. Hi! I’m a friendly and dedicated tutor who loves helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Outside of tutoring, I’m a huge Manchester United fan — I try to catch as many games as possible and really enjoy the teamwork and strategy behind the sport. I’m also part of a competitive bhangra team, where we perform at events and competitions across the country. Being involved in bhangra has taught me valuable lessons in discipline, teamwork, and performing under pressure — qualities I bring to my tutoring sessions. When I’m not dancing or watching football, I’m a big Formula 1 fan. I love the blend of precision, strategy, and constant improvement involved in the sport. To stay active and clear my mind, I enjoy swimming, which helps me stay focused and refreshed. Recently, I’ve started learning to play the guitar, picking up my favourite songs one at a time. It’s been a rewarding challenge that reminds me how patience and practice are key to mastering new skills — just like in learning. My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing their abilities. I bring energy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I attended secondary school at Queen Elizabeth's School, Barnet. It is a selective grammar school and consistently ranks in the top 5 grammar schools in the country. I am now studying at Kings College London University as a 2nd year medical student.
