Hello! My name is Imo, and I’m a dedicated online Science and Mathematics tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. I am passionate about helping students understand challenging topics, gain confidence in their abilities, and achieve their academic goals. Science and maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, but with the right guidance and support, every student can succeed. What students gain from my lessons are confidence in science and maths; develop strong exam techniques; improve their understanding of difficult concepts; build independent learning skills. My aim is not just to help students pass exams, but to help them truly understand the subject and enjoy learning. I hold a First school leaving, an A-level certificate and a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy( B.Pharm ). In addition, I have earned a TEFL/TESOL certificate and a digital marketing and e-commerce certificate through an online course. Currently, I am further enhancing my skills by undertaking a Data Analyst course, which helps strengthen my problem-solving and logical teaching methods.

A BEng Mechanical Engineering student from The University of Dundee who has taken A-level examinations before. I prefer mastery of concepts with the ability to employ knowledge to solve problems. I have experience with real-world engineering projects, as I am running an IMechE-affiliated aeronautical society where we develop autonomous drones for the UAS challenge. I have self-studied my A-levels, which comprise AS and A2-level Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. As a result of this solo endeavor, I have become very familiar with discipline and time management. It has helped me develop a growth mindset. I'm currently in my 2nd year. I have received straight A's during my first year transcript and am projected to maintain that grade. I employ this knowledge and critical thinking extensively for my real-world engineering projects, which aim to develop UAV's to be competitive at the national level.

I have been a tutor for 2 years, specialising in Maths and English, but I am comfortable teaching a range of subjects. I am in my second year of university studying Law, which has given me many skills such as attention to detail and a strong work ethic. I transfer these qualities to tutoring, and my priority is helping students excel in their studies by providing effective and engaging lessons that tailor to each child's needs. I completed my GCSEs in The Abbey School and my A levels in Kendrick School, achieving results of a high standard that I was proud of. I am now studying Law in university, which has been a passion of mine for many years. My education journey has provided me with joyful and beneficial experiences, as well as challenges that have developed my resilience and shaped me as a person.

I am a Medical Doctor on a new journey to further my education. I have approximately 5 years of tutoring experience across the board. I mainly started tutoring as a way to learn and retain the content for good grades. I found that when helping my peers I also helped myself improve my grades. In lower level I have experience tutoring Science and Math while in GCSE and A-Level I tutor Chemistry, Biology and Math. In higher level tutoring, i offer services on any Subject health related eg Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology etc. I offer my services to any student who is willing to learn. I am fluent in speaking and writing English and Swahili. During my leisure time i enjoy reading a novel, spending time with friends, road trips, baking and movies . I offer a fun and productive approach to learning for my students. With over 5years experience i not only bring a fresh approach to tutoring but i tailor my services to best suit the student, a lot like patient care lol. I have just about 2 years experience working with Gostudent and the feedback has been great.
