About me

Hi there, my name is Cameron Building confidence in Mathematics often starts with finding the right tutor . My goal is to provide a comfortable, patient & friendly atmosphere where real progress can be made. I understand the classroom isn't always the easiest place to learn, a teacher has to buzz around different students all the time - Sessions with myself are all about you! Maths isn't always as scary as it seems at first glance! Able to cover all areas within the national curriculum and A level. I'm happy to work with students of varying abilities and will tailor sessions around the needs of students. This can be trouble topics, cementing knowledge or work on exam prep. Following school I went straight to Lowestoft Sixth form college to study Mathematics, Physics & Economics for ...

Hannah B.

Hi, I'm Hannah, a 2nd year chemistry student. I like teaching and would love to help others reach their full potential in maths and sciences, creating an encouraging and supportive environment such that they can improve, achieve their goals and start to enjoy the subjects as much as I do. Aside from academics, I like hiking, reading and swimming. I have also started learning crochet and knitting. I am a 2nd year student at the University of York on the MChem Chemistry with a Year in Industry undergraduate course. Before that, I went to Chelmsford County High School for Girls where I did 10 GCSEs (English language, English literature, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, French, German and Geography, all grade 9), HPQ and FSMQ (both As). I continued there at sixth form, where I got As in German and EPQ and A*s in Maths, Chemistry and Physics, and started mentoring students.

Hi, I'm Neha, a medical student at King's College London with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics and I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. My tutoring style is patient, supportive and structured. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, helping students understand the logic behind what they are learning rather than relying on memorisation. Whether a student is aiming for top grades or looking to improve their confidence, I strive to create a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their understanding. I achieved A* grades in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics at A Level, and Grade 9s in all 10 GCSE subjects, including Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Computer Science. My academic achievements include Bronze awards in both the UK Biology Olympiad and UK Chemistry Olympiad (2024), Gold awards in the UKMT Mathematics Challenge (2019–2021) and a High Merit in Grade 6 LAMDA Public Speaking (2024). I was also the winner of the Behavioural Sciences category at my school Science Fair. Through my studies, I have developed strong subject knowledge, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills. My specialisms are Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and medicine application mentoring, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence, deepen their understanding, and achieve their academic goals.
