Hello! I'm Alex, an enthusiastic English teacher from England with a love for making learning fun, engaging and memorable. I've always been passionate about language - starting from my early school days, where I would read thesauruses and Atlases memorising all the words and capital cities for pure entertainment! Now, I focus on helping students enjoy and remember what they learn, making every lesson both captivating and effective. With a degree in Media, Culture & Social Sciences from the University of the West of England and as a fully qualified TEFL teacher, I bring a rich blend of cultural insight and academic excellence to my English teaching. I’ve traveled extensively across China, South America, and Europe, which has deepened my understanding of diverse learning styles and cultural nuances. In addition to my educational background, I’m also a certified health coach, specialising in holistic healing and self-empowerment. My approach to teaching is holistic and student-centred, fostering a supportive environment where your child can thrive both academically and inter-personally. I’m committed to helping students build confidence and achieve success in their English language journey.

I am passionate about all things science and motivated by the opportunity to help students understand and enjoy sciences and maths while gaining confidence in their abilities and achieving their academic goals. Both sciences and maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, full of complex processes and unfamiliar terminology, but I believe that these subjects become quite fascinating with the right support and guidance. My goal is to focus on breaking down challenging ideas into simple, manageable steps using visual tools, analogies, and real-life examples to bring the content to life.
