My name is Saffron, and I am a 2nd year Neuroscience student at the University of Manchester. Getting into this course at a Russel Group University required stellar GCSE and A Level grades which I was able to achieve through thorough and dedicated studies and personal teaching. I believe that active learning through frequent recall, question and answer sessions and flashcards is the best way to retain information. Hi! I have been teaching French, German, English and Italian for 12 years. I love art, walking and keeping fit. I have lived and worked in Italy. I have worked with both adults and children. I also run a regular arts club for young carers. I have helped students gain qualifications in languages such as GCSE's. I have always been very interested in learning languages. At school I gained a GCSE in French, German and Modern Greek. I have an A-level in French and German and then I studied Italian and German at The University of Birmingham and gained a BA joint hons in German and Italian.

I am very enthusiastic about Maths and the Sciences. Having just finished my A Levels studying Biology, Physics, and Mathematics at A Level; I understand the challenges students face when learning these subjects and enjoy helping others build confidence and improve their understanding.
