Hi, I’m Cherry Mae Quijano, a passionate educator with a deep love for mathematics. I strive to make complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for my students. My mission is to foster critical thinking, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. I focus on creating a student-centered environment where every individual feels valued and empowered to achieve their fullest potential. I hold a bachelor’s in secondary education, majoring in mathematics, and am pursuing a master’s in education. I teach general mathematics and statistics with a focus on active participation and critical thinking. Beyond the classroom, I mentor students, coach for competitions, and foster a growth mindset. My goal is to inspire curiosity and empower students.

Hi! I'm Olivia and I am a 4th year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde. I chose this degree as I'm passionate about Maths and Physics, taking both up to Advanced Higher level while at secondary school. I'm focused right now on tutoring up to GCSE level or equivalent. I have experience tutoring up to this level in both Maths and Physics through a programme led by my university. I also have experience working with younger children as a football coach to girls aged 5-9 at Queens Ladies and Girls Football Club. Outside of my studies I enjoy running, travelling and reading to name just a few interests. In terms of lessons, I tend to tailor each lesson and teaching method to each pupil. I mostly use worksheets to reinforce knowledge and build students' confidence in their chosen subject. I will also set quizzes prior to each lesson for the student to complete to allow me to understand how they have progressed since the last lesson. I am a 4th year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde. Since beginning my studies, I have developed my analytical and problem-solving skills studying subjects such as thermodynamics, programming, structural mechanics and dynamics to name but a few. I was born in Cape Town, South Africa. I moved to Ireland when I was 12 years old. I love Maths and English, but I decided to study Science in college. I love reading classic novels, writing funny stories, and watching Korean dramas. I enjoy travelling, cooking Asian foods and making my friends laugh. I look forward to helping more students! I wrote my Junior and Leaving Certificate in Ireland. For my Leaving Certificate, I studied English (H), Maths (H), Biology (H), Chemistry (H), LCVP (Common), Accounting (H) and French (H). I obtained my BSc. in Analytical and Forensic Science with a Distinction at LYIT (now ATU). I also have a TEFL Certificate for teaching English.

My name is Zareen Umair. I have a passion for learning new skills and teaching them aswell. I am humbled to have good communication, listening and collaboration skills. I believe in creating an empathetic environment for the student to boost real-world learning and life-long love for education. While saying this i would like to emphasise that i am always working to improve my own teaching skills aswell. Hi, i have completed 17 years of education. I did my bachelors in science subjects and then acquired a Mphil degree in English Language Teaching from Kinnaird University Lahore Pakistan. Currently i am going to apply for double bachelors in an art degree from National College of Arts Lahore Pakistan due to my immense interest in arts.
