I am a second year medical student at King's College London. I received 4 UK medical offers and have a UCAT score in the 95th percentile with a score of full marks (900) in quantitative reasoning. For my A levels I studied biology, maths, chemistry and undertook an EPQ on 3D bio printing and its role in degenerative medicine. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis and going to the gym. I am fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. I currently teach biology to students of varying ages whether that be GCSEs or A levels as well as maths to lower years. I have been a tutor with GoStudent for 6 months and haven taught over 100 lessons. Currently a 2nd Year Medical Student at King's College London GCSEs = All 9's. ABOUT ME I have a deep interest in history, human and physical geography, anthropology, technology, architecture and engineering. I especially enjoy the history and geography of languages and language families. I'm into all sorts of things if I'm honest. I am a keen traveller (but who isn't nowadays), audiophile and technophile, with a love for all kinds of technologies, analogue and digital, new and old. Thanks to COVID I learnt a lot of DIY skills through necessity. My house also has a garden full of fruit trees, so I guess that would make me an amateur gardener by default. I try to keep fit by cycling when possible, but my favourite sport is swimming. TEACHING EXPERIENCE/PREFERENCES The subjects I teach are History, English Literature and Language for GCSE and A-level, as well as ESL English. I tend to teach students aged 14+, so from Year 9 to Year 13 or more mature students for ESL, but I do have a few students younger than this. I use a variety of teaching approaches, ranging from traditional methods of text analysis to modern forms of teaching, such as interactive quizzes, questionnaires and even YouTube videos if they benefit the students learning style. Exam Board Experience: Experience of all English assessment boards, but especially AQA and Edexcel in the, and WJEC/Eduqas and OCR to a lesser extent. Languages: English: as a first language to advanced/professional level. Turkish: fluent to college level, but nor advanced enough for teaching purposes.

I am a Maths teacher with 4 years of experience. I studied Mathematics at the University of Reading, and earned my PGCE there too. I have worked with 3 GCSE classes to achieve their required grades in Mathematics and Numeracy. I am also able to teach A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and have worked with one AS level class on their applied work in these areas. I studied BSc Mathematics at the University of Reading and achieved a 2:1 in 2021. I then went on to complete my PGCE in Secondary Education at the same university. I have completed a module at The Open University for my Masters in Education and will be completing the final module in the academic year 2026/27.

My name is Zareen Umair. I have a passion for learning new skills and teaching them aswell. I am humbled to have good communication, listening and collaboration skills. I believe in creating an empathetic environment for the student to boost real-world learning and life-long love for education. While saying this i would like to emphasise that i am always working to improve my own teaching skills aswell. Hi, i have completed 17 years of education. I did my bachelors in science subjects and then acquired a Mphil degree in English Language Teaching from Kinnaird University Lahore Pakistan. Currently i am going to apply for double bachelors in an art degree from National College of Arts Lahore Pakistan due to my immense interest in arts.
