Hi, my name is Neha and I'm a first year dental student at Kings College London. Having recently completed my GCSEs & A levels as well as experience through mentoring younger students, I understand how to achieve the top grades and what resources are the most effective. I am currently teaching chemistry and maths and am looking forward to helping students excel and reach their full potential. I am currently a first-year Dental student at King’s College London, where I am developing a strong foundation in both the scientific and clinical aspects of dentistry. I completed my A levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at The Latymer School and my GCSEs at North London Collegiate School. Having recently gone through these exams, I have a clear understanding of effective revision strategies and the best resources to use for success. I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.
