Hi! My name is Aisha and I am a second-year medical student who really enjoys helping students feel more confident in their learning. I remember how stressful school and exams can feel, so I try to be the kind of tutor I would have wanted myself- patient, encouraging, and easy to talk to. People often describe me as patient, kind, and full of energy — someone who makes others feel comfortable and inspired. I believe laughter, creativity, and confidence go hand in hand, and I always bring that spirit into everything I do. I hold a degree in Linguistics and a TEFL certification, with over six years of teaching experience. My studies and classroom experience have given me a strong understanding of language structure, communication, and how people learn best. This allows me to create lessons that are clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I specialise in English language learning and literature, focusing on grammar, writing, reading comprehension, communication skills, and literary analysis. For about 6 years and about 4000 hours of teaching experience, I have helped several students turn their grades around in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths for Gcse and A-Levels. I have an ESL certification (TEFL/TESOL), which helps me communicate best with non-native speakers. Having had a firsthand experience of the struggles these subjects can give and then steadily turning my grades around, I combine actual study content with relevant past papers, quizzes, and tips that have always brought a tremendous boost in my students grades very quickly.
