Hi, I'm Samuel! I'm a Maths student at Warwick University and I specialise in making Maths accessible and achievable for all levels and offer expert help with exam revision. Having mentored GCSE students at school and taught primary school age groups, I’ve developed the ability to simplify even the most daunting topics into clear, achievable steps. ​I focus on helping GCSE and A-Level students get to grips with complex topics. Whether you are looking to secure a pass or aiming for an A*, I provide a patient, supportive environment to help you reach your full potential. I am currently studying Maths at the University of Warwick. I went to Northgate Sixth Form in Ipswich to study for A levels where I achieved a grade A* in both Maths and Further Maths and a grade A in both Physics and Economics. Before this, I completed my GCSEs at Northgate High School in Ipswich where I achieved grade 9 in 5 subjects (including Maths), grade 8 in 4 subjects and grade 6 in 1 subject. My strengths are in Maths and the sciences. I am also musically trained having achieved a grade 8 merit on the piano from Trinity College London, a grade 5 distinction on music theory from ABRSM and a grade 9 in Music GCSE.

Growing up in a part of Ireland rich in natural beauty, I developed a passion for hiking and camping, along with music on the Uillean pipes, Violin and piano. I enjoy language learning: specifically Spanish and Russian. Naturally, my main focus is Physics, which provides a constant challenge with every strange concept introduced I attended St. Michaels College, Enniskillen for my GCSE's, of which I obtained 8 A*s and 1 A, before switching to Enniskillen Royal Grammar School in order to pursue Further Maths. Here I obtained an A*A*A* grade in Maths, Physics, and Further Maths. I’m currently studying a Physics degree at the University of Edinburgh

GCSE Level: I teach these subjects at GCSE level; English Literature and Language and History A-Level: I teach these A-Level subjects; English Literature and Language, Politics, and History Exams Boards: I know the specifications concerning AQA, Edexcel, and SATs Preferred student age group: Anyone from primary level up to A-levels! About you: I have tutored for multiple years now with various agencies - including over 1000 lessons on GoStudent! I think it's really fulfilling for both teacher and student and I thoroughly enjoy it! It's really important to me that I have a strong relationship with my students so my teaching style is very relaxed, gentle, informative, and compassionate and the results my students get are, without sounding arrogant, outstanding! I will always tailor my lessons to the student's needs and requests, for example, if you're a visual learner, we'll do lots of... visual learning! I'll bring your passions and interests into our lessons so that each session is engaging and enjoyable! I look forward to working with you! :) I attended a top 100 (globally) university and Rusell Group member - the University of Sheffield. I attained a 2:1 undergraduate degree in Politics. From the same university, I also graduated with an MA in International relations. I specialised in antisemitism and right-wing extremism graduating with Merit.

As a current university student, I understand the challenges of academic work and exams. I hope to instil resilience and confidence in students by offering clear explanations, practical study strategies and focused support tailored to each students goals. My sessions are structured but friendly and help students feel comfortable whilst making real progress. I graduated Secondary School with 3 A Levels: English Literature (A*), Politics and Government (A*), History of Art (A) and and Extended Project Qualification (A). I am currently a student of the Dual BA Program between Trinity College Dublin and Columbia University meaning I am working on two BA degrees (one from each institution) simultaneously over four years. Both degrees are in English Literature but I hope to minor in History of Art for my Columbia degree.
