I am a passionate Science Teacher who has a love for making complex concepts simple and engaging. I am experienced in creating interactive lessons that spark curiosity and foster deep understanding. I am dedicated to inspiring the next generation of scientists. I have experience teaching secondary school students, with both Edexcel and AQA exam boards. I attended the University of Lincoln and achieved a degree in Forensic Science. I continued my education in Forensic Anthropology. I then worked as a Personal Effects Specialist during a mass disaster, followed by working in a Microbiology laboratory. I started teaching the Royal Navy in Sea Survival and First Aid before I began Teach First. I worked in a school teaching secondary science whilst achieving my PGDE.

With over four years of experience tutoring maths and science, I’ve developed a structured and results-driven approach that helps students build confidence and master exam technique. As an MPharm graduate currently completing my hospital training year, I bring a strong foundation in clinical reasoning and scientific analysis to my sessions. My tutoring style focuses on consolidating knowledge through exam-style questions, allowing students to apply concepts in realistic scenarios. I begin by clarifying core principles, then guide learners through targeted practice using past papers and timed exercises. I began my academic journey at John Ruskin College, where I completed A levels in Chemistry and Biology, alongside GCSEs in English and Maths. I also earned a BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science and was awarded the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh for altruism. I’ve since graduated with an MPharm degree from the University of East Anglia and am currently completing my hospital training year as a trainee pharmacist. This clinical experience has strengthened my analytical thinking and deepened my understanding of scientific principles—skills I bring into every tutoring session. My approach centres on consolidating knowledge through exam-style questions, helping students apply concepts confidently and accurately. Hi! I'm Amy, I'm a recent graduate of Cambridge University with a degree in Zoology. I absolutely love animals, (especially butterflies and lizards!) and I'm also a big fan of the Discworld books and the DOOM games. I think science is amazing topic, and I have always loved studying it, and that's why I want to help people love it as much as I have :) I attended RGS Guildford for my secondary school and sixth form, and studied Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-Level. I then studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge University, studying Chemistry, Biology of Cells and Evolution in my first year, later specialising into Zoology.

I am a Qualified Teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students of all levels. Experience with: Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, GCSE Maths Exam Prep, Special Need,11+ ,13+ Exam Board Experience: I can work with any exam board. Edexcel, AQA, OCR (most material is common to all exam boards). I am currently working as a Mathematics teacher at a school in the U.K. In my previous roles, I taught mathematics and coding. I have also tutored students at various levels, from elementary school to college. I am very well aware of the Mathematics curriculum and always look for new and engaging ways to teach it.
