Hi, my name is Tasadaq Ali. I am a 3rd year Medical Student at the University of Sheffield. In my GCSEs, I achieved a grade 9 in Chemistry and a grade 8 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Physics. In my A-Levels, I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I enjoy teaching and I have been doing it for quite some time now. Even in University, I have volunteered to teach the younger years about Medicine and when it comes to online tutoring, I have had a good amount of experience when it comes to teaching GCSE content to students. I really enjoy getting to meet all the new people I have the privilege of teaching and in a way this job is very rewarding for me because I know just how much of an impact tutoring can have on not only a student's performance in their exams but also their confidence when it comes to various topics. In my spare time I like to play football, watch documentaries and best of all spend time with my friends. Thank you :) For secondary school, I attended Ermysteds Grammar School in Skipton. The school required an 11+ exam for entry which I comfortably passed. During my GCSEs, although my year was the year in which COVID cancelled our exams, I was still able to walk away with a grade 9 in Chemistry, a grade 8 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Physics, a grade 7 in Geography and a grade 6 in English Language, English Literature, History and Design/Technology. I stayed at Ermysteds for sixth form to study for my A-Levels. In the end I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. And as of now, I am in my third year of Medical School with hopes one day of becoming a Cardiologist.

Hi, I’m Lily and I’m a 19 year old student at the University of Leeds currently on my second year of completing the joint-honours degree of Spanish and International Relations. I have a passion for tutoring and I have been doing it for years in multiple different secondary schools, so I know how to engage with students and adapt my teaching methods to the particular student to ensure they can achieve the highest grade possible in a fun and relaxed setting. I teach Spanish after studying the language at GCSE, A-level, and degree level, so I would say I have expert knowledge in this area to help students who are keen to learn of all ages. We can have fun whilst we learn as I truly believe you learn the most and remember the most when you are enjoying what you are doing. Outside of studying and tutoring I love to play instruments like the guitar and the piano, and I also kick-box and dance. I love to keep myself busy and to help elevate others to be the best versions of themselves which is why I love to tutor, and this year I will be teaching English in Spain. Hello! I’m Katy, an experienced and approachable tutor passionate about helping students build confidence, reach their academic potential and feel genuinely prepared for their exams. For the past five years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with students across a wide range of subjects, with a particular focus on GCSE, iGCSE and A Level preparation. With a degree in Politics & Modern History from the University of Manchester, I’ve worked with students of all abilities and enjoy helping them not only improve their grades, but also become more confident and independent learners. My approach to tutoring is calm, encouraging and interactive. I believe that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand what works best for each individual and tailor my lessons accordingly. Whether a student needs help getting to grips with a difficult topic, improving their exam technique, or simply building the confidence to tackle an upcoming exam, I aim to make every lesson productive, engaging and enjoyable. This combination of academic experience, language qualifications and practical experience allows me to support students across a wide range of subjects and exam requirements.

Hi, I’m Stephen, a medical student at the University of Nottingham with a strong interest in science and education. I achieved an A in A Level Chemistry and continue to develop and apply my scientific knowledge throughout my medical studies. Having been through GCSEs and A Levels myself, I understand that knowing the content is only part of doing well in Chemistry. Exam technique is just as important. Students can understand a topic well but still lose marks because they do not know what the question is asking for, how to structure their answer or which key words the mark scheme expects. I therefore place a strong focus on exam questions, mark schemes, identifying common mistakes and learning how to turn knowledge into marks. I also believe that Chemistry does not have to feel intimidating or boring. With clear explanations and the right approach, Chemistry can be fun and it is absolutely a subject you can do well in. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, getting things wrong and gradually building their confidence. My approach is patient and adaptable because every student learns differently. Alongside tutoring, I have experience mentoring university students, which has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly and support people towards their goals. Outside of Medicine and studying, I am a big football fan and enjoy running. I recently completed a half marathon, so I understand the value of consistency, discipline and gradually improving over time. I try to bring the same mindset into tutoring. You do not need to understand everything immediately. With consistent practice and the right guidance, progress follows. My goal is to help students understand Chemistry, master their exam technique and become confident enough to work towards grades 7 to 9. I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Nottingham, where I have developed a strong scientific foundation across areas including Chemistry, Biology, physiology and human health. My degree has strengthened my analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills, all of which I bring into my tutoring.
