I adapt lesson style and content to your needs. We can go through specific subject areas, study skills and exam skills as required. I can vary how the material is delivered according to the situation and what works for you. I will teach and do lecture notes where appropriate, or take a more "coaching" style if that suits you and the situation better. We can even do more seminar/discussion style lessons as you become more comfortable with the material. At the heart of all of the above is making sure that we are working together so that you can achieve your goals. I know that you are probably already having lessons in school or at home, and my goal will be to complement those existing lessons rather than replacing them so that you can get the best value out of our time together. Specialisms: I am able to cover all aspects of the curriculum but I am particularly focused on skills. Psychology is a little different to other subjects covered at A-Level - not only do students have to learn a lot of information and produce it under exam conditions, but there is also a need to analyze and evaluate what has been learned so that they can write clearly, concisely and insightfully about that information. As well as teaching the syllabus content, I can help improve a student's thinking and writing skills so that they can go into exams with more confidence. I have also developed my coaching skills so work with students to help them improve their own problem-solving capabilities so that they can identify how they can study more effectively. A bit about me: I'm a PhD-qualified tutor who, over the course of my career, spent time working as a researcher, consultant and analyst across different industries. In all of those other roles, the part I enjoyed most was training, teaching and coaching people, so I am working towards making that my full-time career. Working in industry has taught me the importance of always turning up prepared and ready to work, using clear, prompt and honest communication and making sure that whoever I am working with knows that I am working in their best interests. The same will apply when we work together. In my spare time I love to play football and follow a lot of sport. I am learning to play guitar (very slowly) and enjoy listening to music, going to gigs when the opportunity arises. I love learning and am always doing some course or another - I'm currently studying to teach English as a foreign language and working towards accredited coach status. My name is Krishaah Senthan, I am a first year Pharmacy student at the University of Lincoln and an experienced tutor specialising in GCSE English, Chemistry, Religious Studies and 11+. My teaching style combines patience, encouragement, and clear step-by-step explanations. Whether you’re aiming to boost confidence or achieve top grades, I’ll help you master the material and feel fully prepared for exams. For secondary I went Westcliff high school for Girls where I did 12 GCSEs including English, Maths and Triple Science. For sixth form I went Southend High school for Boys where I did Biology, Chemistry, Religious Studies and an EPQ. I am now currently in my first year of Pharmacy at the University of Lincoln.

One of the challenges I often face is answering an insightful question. If I'm not able to do it independently, I focus on relating to you through a simpler concept we are both familiar with. By breaking this concept down into smaller pieces and unveiling our own understanding of it, we enlighten ourselves. The thing I enjoy most about teaching is learning about you. I help with a tough concept or methodology by relating my presentation to how you reckon already known matters. This process will familiarize us with your subject's topics. This is the reason why we'll mostly avoid memorizing stuff. - Do you find lectures boring? If so, you'll find my lessons a perfect fit! Our lessons won't be old-school. Whether you're cutting your teeth with tuition or not, you'll be in conversation with me. As your tutor, I'll share thoughts back and forth and build our understanding of your subject's concepts and methods. - Do you find yourself in stupor at school? From our very first class, I'll lead you to explore and become your own coach, so that you can see results after the first two weeks. We don't need to learn by heart most of the things required to pass with flying colors. As your mentor, I pursue with fervor the breaking down of concepts and getting to the bottom of them. Once we achieve this, you won't have to revise said concepts ever again. - What if you find exams particularly tough? Isn't it annoying when you know the material but still can't get those marks? I offer exam preparation and methods to get those precious marks. We'll read the questions together and work on writing expression. These included subjects like Physics, Biology, Statistics, Algebra, Calculus, etc. Lastly, I'm a self-taught personal trainer. Throughout this particular academic endeavour, I studied biomechanics and anatomy, with a solid knowledge of their application to weightlifting.

I’m an enthusiastic individual, that is keen on teaching children, of all ages, up until A-level. I have many different hobbies, such as playing sports and cooking different recipes, which is something I carry out in my free time. I’m also multilingual, as I can speak both Bengali and Urdu fluently. I also have experience of teaching, as I ran my own personal tuition for primary school children, now moving unto secondary school, for English, which is something that I am carrying out now. I’m looking forward to teaching Primary school children, for both Maths and English, as well as English Language and English Literature for GCSE students, and in teaching Finance to A-level students. I have successfully achieved a grade 8 for English Literature, as well as a grade 6 for English language. In addition, I studied Finance as one of my A-level subjects and achieved an A*. I just completed my university degree in Accounting and Finance this year. I enjoy teaching a lot, and it’s something that I’ve always been passionate about, from a young age. I currently also work in a primary school alongside my studies which I recently completed, by doing 1-1 with SEN children, assisting them with their learning. This supports my ability to tutor as it gives me an insight into the different concepts children are learning in school, allowing me to provide my students with the help they need, as I'm aware of how important a child's education is, in shaping their future and I hope and wish to be a part of that. I am a recent graduate with a degree in Accounting and Finance, completed in 2024, and I achieved a First Class at the University of East London. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a robust understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and the analytical skills necessary for a successful career in the finance industry. It's something that I am deeply passionate about and wish to carry on further into the future. I'm currently completing a postgraduate course that relates to my field of study (Accounting and Finance), to help me pursue my future career as a Chartered Accountant.
