I have a solid educational background, which has provided me with valuable insights and knowledge. Alongside my academic achievements, I’m also dedicated to fitness and regularly attend the gym to maintain both my physical and mental well-being. Throughout my academic journey, I developed a passion for education and a love for helping others reach their potential. In addition to my degree, I have gained valuable experience working as a Teaching Assistant across a variety of subjects, such as English and Science including Mathematics. My role as a Maths TA allowed me to assist students with complex concepts, fostering an environment where they could confidently grasp challenging material. I have also worked as a TA for other subjects as mentioned, where I supported students with learning difficulties, provided additional help during lessons, and guided individuals in areas where they needed extra assistance. This experience has allowed me to cultivate patience, communication skills, and a genuine desire to help others improve academically. I find great satisfaction in seeing students progress and develop their skills, and I continue to be inspired by the positive impact education has on people's lives. Hi! I am an academically passionate tutor with A* A* A at A-level in English Literature, Biology, and History, and I am currently studying Law with Politics at degree level. I have over three years of tutoring and mentoring experience, working with 11+ and GCSE students. I also have specific experience helping students who were previously struggling or underperforming to move from failing grades to top grades - not just passing - through clear, structured, and targeted teaching. I genuinely enjoy tutoring because I’ve seen how powerful the right support can be, when something finally clicks, it completely changes how a student feels about a subject. Education History: I passed the 11+ in 2017 and attended the highly selective Pate’s Grammar School (2018–2025). I achieved 5 Grade 9s, 3 Grade 8s, and 2 Grade 7s at GCSE (2023), followed by A* A* A at A-level (2025) in English Literature, Biology, and History. I am currently studying Law with Politics at undergraduate level, continuing to develop strong analytical, evaluative, and written communication skills. Experience: Alongside my academic studies, I have developed over three years of tutoring and mentoring experience. I have worked with 11+ students as well as GCSE learners, helping students build confidence, improve exam technique, and achieve strong academic progress. My students have all performed successfully in 11+ exams, and have achieved 7s, 8s, and 9s at GCSE level. In addition, I have held leadership and mentoring roles, including supporting younger students with literacy, reading comprehension and maths (Year 4 - Year 7) and working with children in youth and classroom settings through volunteering roles and placements. Hi, I’m Seth Anderson, an enthusiastic and dedicated Math teacher. I am passionate about helping students explore the world of mathematics in engaging and meaningful ways. My goal is to make learning Math enjoyable and effective through interactive activities, real-world applications, and thought-provoking problem-solving that builds both confidence and critical thinking skills. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and playing musical instruments such as the drums and guitar, which help me stay creative and energized. I graduated with a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematical concepts. With 14 years of teaching experience, I have refined my instructional strategies and classroom management skills. My background has equipped me to design engaging lessons, adapt to diverse learning styles, and create a supportive environment where every student is encouraged to succeed and reach their full potential.

I have just started university and I am eager to help my students in a supportive way with a dynamic based on mutual respect. Outside of my studies I love to watch football, go on hikes in the South Downs and read the financial times, as I am of course interested in any developments in markets. I went to Sackville School, East Grinstead and completed 12 GCSE's and one level 2 certificate in Further Maths, all at grade 7 and above. I then progressed to my A-Levels, achieving A*AAA in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics. During my time I also gained a Gold Certificate in the Senior Maths Challenge and participated in the Senior Maths Kangaroo, whilst also participating in the FCDO Next generation Economics essay competition.
