Hi, I'm Mona! A little about me; I tutor Primary and GCSE-level students in English. Right now, I'm more focused on GCSE students. I have in-depth knowledge in English literature from Shakespearean plays like Macbeth to War and Conflict Poems, and more. I'm fluent in English, write a lot, and I absolutely love creative writing so that comes in handy when guiding students through revision for the English Language Paper. I'm also familiar with exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, and Eduqas. What I love most about my tutoring sessions is that from the onset, my students and I try to make learning not feel like a chore. We strive to not only achieve the educational goals we set out but we make it so that the main objective is to learn and understand, not just pass a test. I'm open-minded and firmly believe there is no such thing as a person who can't be taught. Each student is different from the next and all anyone really needs is the right kind of guidance. I am currently in University for my Bachelor's but I graduated from the equivalent of UK A-Levels with honours. My curriculum was English, Arts, and Humanities-centered so I had subjects such as Media and Information Literacy, Research Writing, Creative Fiction and Non-Fiction, Contemporary Art, etc. I used to write for a travel blog and was the assistant to the managerial editor of a newspaper company so I proofread, edited, and wrote articles a lot.

Hi! I’m Mehmood, 19 years old and currently studying medicine (MBBS) at Hull York Medical School. While I absolutely love studying, I have many other passions that burn just as brightly — I’m into sports, gym, and cycling, and I’m always open to trying new ones! Some cool facts about me: I speak English, Pashto and Urdu. Also, I have a 4-year-old tabby cat called Misty, and I’m one of six siblings! I’d describe myself as calm, composed, and confident—and I’m excited to share my tips and tricks to help others rise to the top of their academics. I attended St. Peter's RC High School in Gorton, where I studied separate sciences, business, geography, religious studies, and core subjects, achieving 6 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s. I then studied biology, psychology, and chemistry at Loreto Sixth Form College, earning A*AB in my A-levels. During my medical school application, I achieved a UCAT score of 2750 Band 1, securing four medical school interviews and ultimately firming Hull York Medical School—where I am currently studying medicine (MBBS). Alongside my academic journey, I’ve been a private tutor for the past two years, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades in science and math. I also completed a 3-week teaching internship at COOP Academy, delivering science lessons to Year 8 and 9 students. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable clinical experience working in GP practices and hospital settings, consulting with patients and developing strong communication and empathy skills. My educational background reflects a strong foundation in science and a passion for teaching. My name is Fernanda and I am 23 years old, with a BSc in Forensic Science from the University of Kent. I am Peruvian, my first language is Spanish, and have been living in the UK for the past 3 years throughout my university career. I have been studying English and have had all my classes in English since I was 4 years old. I am a big fan of musical theatre (won't speak about it unless asked about), sports such as volleyball and athletics and dancing. I studied Forensic Science (Hons) and graduated from the University of Kent with a Upper Second Class Honours (2:1). I completed my A-Levels (Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry) and IGCSEs in Epsom College in Malaysia. I have experience tutoring and helping students from primary school and my classmates throughout my academic journey. I have also been a EAL teacher at a summer camp in Malaysia where I helped develop the English Language of primary school students who had very little English to none at all. I am currently a Teaching Assistant where I work with kids of different ages, ranging from 11 to 16, and different age groups. I assist in GCSE mathematics, English and Science as well as Year 7 core subjects and additional.
