My name is Yasir, I am a dedicated and humble tutor specializing in Computer Science and Mathematics. I am a PhD Student, studying Computer Science (Informatik) at University of Zürich I teach Computer Science (GCSE, A-Level), Math (Year 7 - Year 11) as well as all the Major sciences; Chemistry, Phyiscs, Biology and Combined Science at GCSE level With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science & Engineering, and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Zurich, I have a genuine passion for teaching. I strive to simplify complex concepts and create an inclusive learning environment for students of all levels. My patient and friendly approach ensures that every student achieves comprehensive understanding. I have experience teaching prestigious UK boards such as AQA, OCR, and EdExcel, as well as providing guidance to Leaving Certificate students in the Irish school system. Outside of tutoring, I find joy in engaging with video games on PC, playing drums, guitar, traveling as well as playing football. Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.

I’m an experienced and approachable Economics tutor with a strong academic background, including an A at A-Level and current studies at UCL. I aim to make challenging concepts accessible and engaging, tailoring my approach to each student’s needs. I create a supportive environment where students gain confidence, critical thinking, and a passion for the subject :) I’m currently studying for a BSc Social Sciences at UCL data. I took A-Levels in Business Studies, Economics, and History, earning an A* in Business Studies, A in Economics and A in History. I achieved 9 GCSEs ranging from 9-7s, highlighting my commitment and ability across multiple subjects.

My experience as a tutor extends to both traditional in-person teaching and modern online platforms. Each mode of instruction has presented unique challenges and opportunities, and adapting my teaching style accordingly has been a rewarding experience. In face-to-face tutoring, I developed the ability to assess a student’s understanding in real time, adjusting my approach based on their reactions and engagement levels. This hands-on experience helped me refine my ability to explain complex ideas in simple, relatable ways, making abstract concepts in mathematics and physics more tangible. I had my IGCSE's in Egypt , then I went to a Military Engineering University where I studied Chemical Engineering , graduated in 1999 and worked in my field until 2009 when I took on teaching physics and maths in international schools until 2014 when I focused on tutoring and moved back to the UK where I opened the Digital marketing agency where I help clients build there businesses and teach their teams how to do it themselves in workshops and classes , alongside with tutoring some students in maths and physics.
