Hi! My name is Sadia, I’m a dedicated and knowledgeable tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I hold IGCSE qualifications in English Language, English Literature, and Maths, as well as GCSE Psychology. I have also achieved both Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning, giving me a solid understanding of how students learn and how to support them effectively. I am currently further developing my knowledge by studying a Science, Technology and Maths course with The Open University. I’m an aerospace engineer and passionate educator with a deep love for science, learning, and space exploration. With over 5 years of teaching experience across learning centers and online platforms, I believe every student has the potential to excel. It is about finding the right approach. I’m multilingual, naturally curious about how things work, and genuinely invested in helping students not just pass exams, but develop a real understanding of the material. I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.
