Hi, I’m John Audry, an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher! I have over two years of teaching under my belt, and I have always loved helping students explore the world of mathematics in engaging and innovative ways. My goal is to make learning mathematics easy and exciting for everyone through interactive activities and stimulating problem-solving sessions that spark curiosity and build confidence in my students. Also, I make sure to give real-world applications of the abstract theories in mathematics to make it feel more relatable. In my free time, I enjoy working and designing machines and engines, which has developed my attention to detail, and has helped me stay sharp, focused, and analytical. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, where I gained a robust foundation in mathematical theories, scientific concepts, and their real-world applications. I’m currently a University student at the University of York and I’m working towards becoming a teacher! I love reading, science, pop culture, travelling and history. I also love helping other people learn and find joy in gaining knowledge and school :) I am currently a 3rd Year Student at the University of York. I have 4 A-levels which consist of an A* in Biology, Chemistry and History and an A in an EPQ. I also have 11 GCSEs which I achieved grades 7-9 in.
