Hi! I’m Asmaa, I graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Biochemistry. I am passionate about all things science and motivated by the opportunity to help students understand and enjoy sciences and maths while gaining confidence in their abilities and achieving their academic goals. Both sciences and maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, full of complex processes and unfamiliar terminology, but I believe that these subjects become quite fascinating with the right support and guidance. I’m Enola - I’m a second year student at the University of Nottingham studying Economics but I’m originally from Folkestone, Kent! I have a strong background in maths and I’ve helped students at GCSE and A-Level feel more confident by focusing on understanding, rather than memorising. I love to read, do yoga and play tennis outside of my studies :) At the Folkestone School for Girls, I achieved 9999988888 at GCSE and took A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, History and French with an A in Maths. Currently, I’m studying BSc Economics at the University of Nottingham and am on track for a first. I’ve chosen to specialise in Econometrics modules, which is the maths/ statistics side of Economics. Hello, my name is Lorenzo and I am an Italian mathematician. I have been a university lecturer of maths at the Department of Pharmacology of the University of Rome Sapienza for 4 academic years. I have worked at an international college school in Rome (courses fully taught in English language) as a teacher of maths and physics for students of years 10 and 11, following UK Cambridge curriculum and preparing them for the IGCSE exam. Here on Gostudent, so far I have helped tens of students to face Edexcel or AQA advanced maths exams. I am working as a private tutor of maths and physics since approximately 25 years, and I have recently been awarded with the University of London Worldwide Recognised Tutor Status. Throughout my career, I’ve specialized in teaching Algebra, Geometry, Probability, and Statistics to students from Grade 7 through 12. I am a licensed Math teacher in the Philippines and hold a provisional certification to teach in New Zealand. I also bring international experience to our sessions as a former J-1 teacher in Texas, USA.
