Hello! I'm Sila, an aspiring Chemistry student studying at University College London :) My main goal as a tutor is to get a firm understanding on my student's weak areas and plan lessons efficiently to help them as much as possible. I am dedicated to help tutees reach their full potential through the way that they learn and thrive the best! I am looking forward to meeting and helping everyone who's willing to boost their chemistry knowledge! I attended Buxton school and finished my GCSE's with grades 9 in Biology and Chemistry, an 8 in physics, and a 7 in maths. I studied my A levels at City of London Academy Southwark and achieved A,A,A in Biology, Chemistry and Business Studies. In my gap year I worked as a tutor teaching remotely and physically. The subjects I taught were Chemistry as well as Biology.

I am a dedicated student of Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a strong passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps—an approach I bring into my tutoring sessions. Outside of academics, I have a keen interest in sports including football, badminton, snooker, and golf. I believe that the discipline and strategic thinking gained from sports complement my academic pursuits and enhance my ability to connect with students from various backgrounds. I'm enthusiastic about helping learners build confidence and achieve their goals in a supportive and engaging environment. I am currently studying Mathematics and Actuarial Science at the University of Southampton, where I am continuing to deepen my understanding of mathematical theory, statistical analysis, and their real-world applications. This degree is further strengthening my analytical and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my tutoring sessions. Before university, I completed my A Levels at St Dominic’s Sixth Form College, achieving an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry—subjects I now tutor. My success in these subjects has given me the confidence and insight to support students in mastering challenging concepts and developing effective exam strategies. I completed my GCSEs at Pinner High School, earning 11 GCSEs at grades 9 to 7, including top marks in Maths and the Sciences. This academic foundation has given me a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the expectations of exam boards. Having recently been through the school and sixth form system myself, I am well placed to relate to students and provide guidance that is both up-to-date and practical. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, tackle their weaknesses, and build confidence in their abilities.

Growing up in a part of Ireland rich in natural beauty, I developed a passion for hiking and camping, along with music on the Uillean pipes, Violin and piano. I enjoy language learning: specifically Spanish and Russian. Naturally, my main focus is Physics, which provides a constant challenge with every strange concept introduced I attended St. Michaels College, Enniskillen for my GCSE's, of which I obtained 8 A*s and 1 A, before switching to Enniskillen Royal Grammar School in order to pursue Further Maths. Here I obtained an A*A*A* grade in Maths, Physics, and Further Maths. I’m currently studying a Physics degree at the University of Edinburgh

Hi! I’m Surabhi. I love helping students not just understand their subjects, but actually enjoy learning. I focus on building confidence, finding the right approach for each person, and making lessons engaging and interactive. I’m patient, approachable, and always happy to answer questions, no matter how small or silly they may sound. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, art and dance! All of which helps me bring a bit of creativity into our sessions. I am currently an A-level resit student at Wolsley Hall Oxford, having completed my initial A-levels at Herschel Grammar School but needing to resit some exams due to medical circumstances that affected my performance in 2025. Despite these challenges, I remain highly motivated and committed to my studies. Over the course of my education, I have developed strong knowledge in Economics but even more in English Literature - a subject I am highly passionate about, alongside effective study strategies that I now enjoy sharing with others. I have experience supporting peers through informal tutoring and study groups, helping them build confidence, clarify concepts, and improve exam performance.
