Hi! I’m Haivyn, and I’ve recently finished A Level Biology and Chemistry, two subjects I made strong progress in and now love helping others understand. I know science can be overwhelming, so I focus on breaking things down clearly and explaining them in a way that makes sense to each student. I’ve worked with children in several settings. In a Year 8 science class, I supported students who were struggling by using diagrams, hands-on examples, and simple language to match their way of thinking. Some students needed topics broken into small steps, while others needed real-life links to stay engaged. I also made sure to check in often, praise their progress, and build their confidence bit by bit. At Let Us Play, I supported children with disabilities, helping them feel comfortable, included, and understood. I learned to adapt my communication style and be patient, especially when children needed extra time or reassurance. At Nita’s Hair and Beauty, I looked after children while their parents had treatments. I kept them entertained with games and friendly conversations, and made sure they felt safe and listened to. These experiences taught me how to connect with young people, explain clearly, and be the kind of tutor who supports not just learning but confidence too. I’m friendly, patient, and I’ll always teach at your pace. Looking forward to helping you grow! I completed my GCSEs at Colton Hills Community School, taking triple science, Maths, English Language and Literature, RS, and two BTECs in Sport and Health and Social Care, achieving A*s in sciences and strong overall grades. I then studied A-level Biology, Chemistry, and Economics at The Royal School Wolverhampton, completing my courses and now awaiting results. Following a consistent revision routine helped me excel academically, while playing netball developed my teamwork, leadership, and resilience. Teaching a Year 8 science class strengthened my communication and patience. These experiences have shaped me into a disciplined, confident, and empathetic individual, ready to take on new challenges with a strong passion for learning and helping others.

I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.

My name is Aisha I am a dedicated and compassionate tutor that has a heavy background in teaching students Biology, Chemistry, Science and Maths. I focus on helping students build a strong understanding of the topics they may be struggling followed by sufficient and plentiful exam application practise to help build confidence for exams. All students learn differently, so I tailor my methods to suit each student’s unique needs, ensuring they leave with a solid understanding of the subject they initially struggled with. Whether a student needs help building foundational skills, catching up, or reaching higher levels of achievement, I create a supportive environment where they feel encouraged, understood, and motivated. My style is interactive and flexible—I use strategies to make challenging concepts easier to grasp and lessons more engaging. From breaking down harder problems to celebrating small wins, I focus on building confidence and independence in every learner. I'm patient and understanding, always taking the time to listen, adapt, and ensure my students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes as part of the learning process. Qualifications: Optometry Student Certificate of Higher education with modules: -chemistry (A) -Maths (A) - Biology (B) A-levels: Chemistry (B) Sociology (B) Biology (C) GSCEs: Biology (8) Chemistry (8) Physics (8) Maths (7) English Literature (8) English Language (8) Geography RS Business I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Sociology at A-level and am currently an undergraduate Optometry student, which keeps me deeply engaged with scientific concepts on a daily basis. This strong academic foundation allows me to teach both subjects with clarity, confidence, and real-world relevance. My in-depth understanding of these subjects allows me to explain even the most challenging topics in a way that makes sense to students. I focus heavily on building core understanding, improving exam technique, and boosting confidence—especially in areas students often find overwhelming, like mechanisms, reaction pathways, and applied problem-solving. I’ve previously worked as a tutor online and completed a Teaching and Mentoring Programme in person specifically designed for supporting GCSE Chemistry students. My teaching style is clear, structured, and supportive. I make complex ideas simple and use relatable examples to help students connect with the material. Whether a student is aiming for top grades or trying to gain confidence in the basics, I provide a patient, focused, and motivating environment for them to learn and succeed. I want students to have a tutor that understands their needs and and does everything possible to help them get to where they need to be. I hope to be that tutor to all of my students! If you're looking for a tutor that will help develop your confidence and ability in these subjects, I’d love to help!

I'm quite passionate about helping students succeed because I've been in the same situation myself. I’m a patient and approachable tutor who thrives on seeing pupils grow in confidence and understanding. I have a good background in Physics and Maths, I tutor up to A-level in Maths, backed by top grades (9 in GCSE Maths, A* in A-level Maths, and A in Further Maths). I’ve helped students achieve their academic goals, including guiding a family friend to an A in A-level Maths, securing her place at her first-choice university. My lessons are engaging, supportive, and designed to challenge students while encouraging them to take risks and learn from their mistakes. I often use graph sketches, Venn diagrams and rough drawings to help illustrate problems. Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about sports, especially football, tennis, and basketball, and I’m an avid Manchester United fan even if they're not very good! I attended Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College where I completed both my GCSEs and A-levels. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Business studies at A-level. After my A-levels I went to the University of Nottingham where I graduated with a BSc in Mathematics and Economics.
