Hi! My name is Lucy and I'm 22 years old from the North East. I am currently completing my Masters in Developmental Psychology and have a deep interest in education and teaching. My background in psychology has helped me to gain a deep understanding of how young people learn and how best to explain tricky concepts. In my free time I enjoy reading, pilates and spending time with my dog! I earned As across all three A-levels Psychology, Sociology, and Biology. I am taking a gap year to apply my knowledge and gain new skills before continuing with my education. I would love to help young children reach their full potential and support them through their journey. I attended Ribston Hall High School to complete my GCSE and St Peters High School to complete A-levels. I have received grade As across all three of my subjects with consistent revision and determination. I have broadened my knowledge across the 7 years and gained many new skills, facts, and techniques. I aim to use these to help others achieve their full potential and gain the grades they need to have a successful career which makes them proud.

Hi! I am a friendly and supportive tutor specialising in Biology A-level/ GCSE, and Chemistry GCSE. I achieved A* AA in these subjects at A level and have experience tutoring students within school. I studied AQA exam boards for Biology and Chemistry, and Edexcel for Maths. My sessions will focus on building confidence and understanding by using past exam questions as examples to highlight key concepts and how to approach them during exams. During the sessions, we will work through topics that you may struggle on together and practice with exam-style questions so you’re fully prepared. The topics we cover will be completely led by you, so that you get the most out of our time together. I am flexible in my teaching style, so if you learn better other ways, for example mind maps, I am more than happy to do this. Between sessions, I will set small tailored tasks to reinforce what we have covered and help revision, which we will then review together.
