My Educational Journey & Professional Foundation My academic and professional foundation in the UK began at the University of York, where I earned my first MA in Education. Studying at one of the UK’s leading centers for pedagogical research provided me with a deep understanding of learning psychology and curriculum design. It was during my time at York that I officially began my career in mathematics instruction. I worked extensively as a GCSE Mathematics tutor, delivering both online and face-to-face sessions to local students. This hands-on experience was very helpful and meaningfull; it allowed me to apply educational theories directly to the classroom, helping students navigate the complexities of the AQA and Edexcel syllabi while building their confidence from the ground up. Following my success at York, I moved on to the University of Sheffield to pursue a second MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). While this might seem like a shift in focus, it was actually a strategic move to enhance my math teaching. At Sheffield, I specialized in applied linguistics and communicative strategies. This advanced training gave me the unique ability to "decode" the language of mathematics. I realized that many students struggle with GCSE Maths not because of the numbers, but because of the complex wording of the questions. My expertise from Sheffield allows me to bridge this linguistic gap, making abstract mathematical concepts accessible and clear for every learner. By combining the pedagogical mastery from York with the linguistic precision from Sheffield, I offer a sophisticated, dual-lens approach to tutoring. Hi, My name is Ade. I enjoy seeing people thrive and develop in any way, shape or form. I enjoy making a difference. I’m someone who’s deeply passionate about personal growth and helping others reach their full potential. I have a solid educational background, which has provided me with valuable insights and knowledge. Alongside my academic achievements, I’m also dedicated to fitness and regularly attend the gym to maintain both my physical and mental well-being. I believe that self-improvement extends beyond the gym – it’s about empowering others to enhance their lives, whether through motivation, guidance, or simply offering a supportive hand when needed. I have a strong academic foundation, holding a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, this has not only provided me with in-depth knowledge of design, Mathematics, and creative problem-solving, but also a deep appreciation for the intersection of Art, English, Science, and functionality. Throughout my academic journey, I developed a passion for education and a love for helping others reach their potential. In addition to my degree, I have gained valuable experience working as a Teaching Assistant across a variety of subjects, such as English and Science including Mathematics. I have also worked as a TA for other subjects as mentioned, where I supported students with learning difficulties, provided additional help during lessons, and guided individuals in areas where they needed extra assistance. I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.

I am a 5th Year Medical Student and have been teaching for many years, I got accepted into grammar and have dedicated many hours to learning and passing on my knowledge. I teach 11+ and have proven methods on understanding the logic and ways to solve the questions. In addition I tutor Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Science, Geography and Maths. I have a keen interest in playing instrumets, learning a new language, keeping active and am currently a co-author on a pending paper to be published in the medical/surgical field.
