My name is Christine and I am a junior doctor. I have always been passionate about learning and sharing knowledge in a manner that's simple and enjoyable. During the sessions, I work with my students through the agreed upon topic paying close attention to the core concepts, we go through some exam-style questions, and also learn how to frame the answers in the way examiners expect. I also share effecting studying and memory techniques to enable them to better learn and master their content. In my spare time, I enjoy singing (I'm currently taking a music theory class and hope to progress to one day play the cello) and dancing. These help me unwind and also have fun! I am currently studying Medicine at university and have three years of tutoring experience. I am passionate about helping students gain confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their academic goals. I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their understanding. I completed my secondary education at Ark Putney Academy, where I achieved nine GCSEs at grades 7–9. I then attended Ashcroft Technology Academy for sixth form, studying Biology, Chemistry and Geography at A-Level and achieving grades AAB. I am currently a first-year MBBS Medicine student at Keele University. My studies have provided me with a strong foundation in the sciences, particularly Biology and Chemistry, as well as developing my problem-solving skills. I am a third-year undergraduate student studying Psychology and Sociology, with a genuine passion for supporting young people in reaching their potential. I have hands-on tutoring experience across Psychology, Maths, Biology, and English, working with children who required additional socioeconomic and special educational support. Alongside this, I work as a Residential Support Worker with children with special needs, giving me a strong understanding of diverse learning needs and how to adapt my approach accordingly. That same year, I completed a Mental Health Warrior Awareness Training Course, a one-day programme focused on building awareness of the daily challenges associated with mental health disorders, including those that are often invisible or overlooked.
