My name is Katy and I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Politics & Modern History. I have been living in Spain & France so am fluent in both languages whilst tutoring to a wide range of ages for the past few years. I am calm, interactive and experienced and enjoy working with students to help achieve their goals. I am TEFL certified, and have plenty of experience with all GCSE & A level examination boards. With regards to languages, I am able to support students in all aspects of exam preparation, from reading & writing to speaking & listening. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Modern History & Politics from the University of Manchester in 2021, where I specialised in Russian & Chinese history, as well as Modern African history, whilst including modules in advanced Spanish. I completed the International Baccalaureate where I studied a range of subjects including History, Spanish, French, English literature, Physics and Maths.

As a passionate and dedicated Electrical Engineering student entering my third year, I have not only mastered core technical subjects but have also discovered a genuine enthusiasm for explaining these complex concepts to others. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and fundamental engineering principles. I understand the challenges students can face with these demanding subjects because I navigate them daily myself. I began my studies at Cenaturi Combined School, where I attended from Grade 1 through Grade 7. This formative period was crucial in instilling in me the core principles of discipline and a lifelong love for learning, particularly in mathematics and science. For my secondary education, I attended Thohoyandou Secondary School, where I further developed this academic focus. The rigorous curriculum in subjects like Physical Science and Advanced Mathematics was instrumental in preparing me for the challenges of higher education and solidified my ambition to pursue a field rooted in technical problem-solving and innovation. I am currently advancing my studies at the University of Johannesburg, where I am enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program specializing in Electrical Engineering. My coursework has provided me with a deep and practical understanding of key engineering principles. I am actively developing specializations in several core areas, including: Electronic Circuit Design: Analyzing and designing analog and digital circuits. Power Systems: Understanding the generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical power. Signal Processing: Learning techniques to analyze and manipulate analog and digital signals. Engineering Mathematics: Applying advanced mathematical concepts to solve complex engineering problems. This technical knowledge, combined with the fundamental skills built throughout my schooling, allows me to confidently tutor subjects like Mathematics and Physical Science. I can explain not only the 'how' but also the 'why,' by connecting school-level topics to their real-world engineering applications, making learning more engaging and meaningful for my students.

Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise. With me as a tutor, you can expect to gain a deep insight into your subject and acquire the ability to excel in your exams. I attended Swanmore College Of Technology where I studied 10 GCSE's achieving 5 9's in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Enterprise and marketing and English literature)- 4 8's ( Maths, Computer science, English language and History) 1 7 ( Further maths). In my A- levels I achieved an A* in Maths, an A in Further Maths, an A in Physics and an A* in an extended project qualification for which I did extensive research in quantum mechanics and furthered my understanding of the double slit experiment exponentially (in both the quantum and classical realm). Currently I am a first year undergraduate at the University Of Bath studying Theoretical Physics.

Hi I'm Samarth, I'm an international Master student at LMU, Munich studying Molecular and Cellular Biology. I've always been told by my peers how I have a flair for explaining things in a crisp and clear manner and hence I thought of joining GoStudent as a Tutor. I have loved biology right for as long as I remember and it was a lecture in high school about Mendelian genetics is what made me pursue a career in academics. I believe biology is best understood when one can visualize the concepts well and when each of the processes are broken down to the steps that they are composed of. It's when difficult concepts are broken down into easier digestible concepts is when studying really becomes fun. Biology and Chemistry go hand in hand, a good grasp of concepts in chemistry is extremely important to pursue biology at higher levels. This therefore also makes me pretty well versed with Chemistry upto A levels. Hobbies: Apart from academics, I've been an avid reader and have had an equally intense love for the arts particularly singing and painting. I have been classically trained in both music and art, and I believe having a co-curricular activity one enjoys and has talent for should be pursued by everyone. I also am an avid reader and absolutely love a nice slice of life or academic research paper to keep both my creative outlet and knowledge base updated. I completed my schooling and Bachelors in Biomedical Science at the University of Delhi, India and am then went on to pursue my masters in Molecular and Cellular Biology in Germany at LMU, Munich. I've had a penchant for the sciences particularly biology and chemistry since middle school which led me to pursue my bachelors in Biomedical Science from the University of Delhi. Since I want to further my career into research I'm now working as a Research Assistant in Munich and plan to pursue my PhD in Epigenetics as well as actively communicate my research through scientific illustrations in the coming years.
