I am an experienced maths teacher/ lecturer. Currently, I work in a training centre, prior to this I have worked in a FE college for more than 6 years, teaching GCSE and functional skills maths. I have also taught ESL to adult groups. I have the experience teaching face to face and online using different platforms. I always worked with children with Special Educational needs from different back grounds. In addition, I worked in primary school supporting year 6 learners to build their maths skills to pass their SATs, before that I was teaching Arabic and Tajweed rules age of 5yrs up to adults. I hold GCSE in maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Arabic and biology. In addition, I hold A level in maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Arabic and biology. I also hold BSc Electrical engineering, PTLLS L3 award in education and training and Diploma L3 in teaching and supporting learners.

My name is Mustafa, I’m 19 years old and an aspiring medical student with a strong passion for science and learning. I enjoy studying and teaching subjects like biology, chemistry, and mathematics because I love helping others understand complex ideas in simple ways. Outside of academics, I’m dedicated to fitness and spend a lot of time training at the gym to improve both my body and discipline. I’m also currently learning Swedish, as I enjoy exploring different languages and cultures. I’m always working to grow, improve, and move closer to my goals every day. I studied in England and successfully completed my GCSEs with the grades 9,9,8,8,8,7,7,6,4. After that, I continued my education at the well-known Loreto Sixth Form College, where I completed my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. My academic journey has strengthened both my scientific understanding and my work ethic. I am currently taking a gap year to gain experience, continue developing my skills, and prepare myself for the next step in my path toward studying medicine.

I’m Tabitha, an experienced and friendly Chemistry and Maths tutor with over 1,100 teaching hours. I support learners from Primary level up to GCSE, A-Level, National 5, and Highers, helping them build confidence, strengthen understanding, and achieve real progress. My lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style using clear explanations, real-life examples, and exam-focused practice. I’m familiar with major exam boards including AQA, OCR, and SQA, and I specialise in improving problem-solving and exam technique. I also hold a degree in Biochemistry and a second degree in Safety, Health, and Environmental Management. When I’m not teaching, I’m keeping workplaces safe and bringing a bit of real-world detective energy into my day! Hi!! My name is Eimear, I’m a 20 year old girl currently in my final year studying a BA in Philosophy, politics and economics at the University of Leeds. I’ve always been a curious individual, who enjoys studying and sharing knowledge with others. During my time at sixth form, I helped a maths GCSE class in preparation for their exams. I really enjoyed this experience and it has urged me to continue to continue with tutoring. I would love to help more people to excel in education and be really proud of their achievements - no matter how big or small! I went to St Nicholas Catholic High School where I got 10 GCSEs grade 9-7 and I stayed on at Sixth Form where I achieved A*,A,A in English Literature, Maths and Religious Studies ALevels. Alongside my ALevels, I also completed an Extended Project Qualification that was awarded an A* as well. I now study a BA in PPE at University of Leeds, where I am aiming to achieve a first class. When I was in sixth form, I helped a GCSE maths class in preparation for their exams, where I conducted 1-1 sessions with various students to go over past papers and establish areas of concern. Beyond that, my degree has allowed me to continue to develop both my numerical skills as well as my written skills, so I think I have a good basis for helping students with both English and Maths (my two favourite subjects). I have work experience as a waitress and cleaner, which have helped me to communicate clearer and work well with a team. Additionally, I am Secretary of Leeds University PPE society, a task which has really developed my team building skills, my ability to organise my time and respond accordingly to comments.
