Hi! I’m Catherine Solomon, a tutor passionate about turning tricky concepts into “aha!” moments. I teach Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Basic Science, Math, and English, breaking down complex topics into simple steps. My goal is to create a positive space where learning is fun, clear, and rewarding! I hold a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, where I honed problem-solving skills and discovered a passion for teaching as a part-time tutor in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Science, and Math. I’m a Geography student at the London School of Economics. When I’m not doing university work, I enjoy drawing, painting, and reading books. I love watching films, and ‘Coraline’ is a particular favourite of mine. Music is another passion of mine—I’m a big fan of Lana Del Rey, Radiohead, and Blur. I’m excited to share my love of learning and help others reach their academic goals! I completed my secondary education at Barking Abbey School, where I achieved 10 GCSEs with grades ranging from 8 to 9. Following this, I pursued A-Levels in Art (A*), Geography (A), and History (A), developing a strong foundation in both the arts and humanities.
